Yah I'll always have paper backups in the glove compartment.

It is a balancing act for sure between attracting new first time readers and retaining existing fans I agree. But having so many different competing universes for the same characters kinda makes things imposing right from the start.

but then there's ultimates and secret avengers and all that crap on top too ... at least I knew that Uncanny X-Men and X-Men and the others took place in the same universe.

Yeah that's another problem that I don't think the publishers have adequately considered. I forget who said this, and I may have to paraphrase it but ... it went along the lines of "Every comic book is potentially someone's First Comic Book."

Maybe I'm getting old, but every time I go into a comic store these days I can't even begin to figure out which comics to buy anymore, with all the different universe variations. It was so much simpler when there was Avengers/Avengers West Coast - Spider-Man/Spectacular Spider-Man/Amazing Spider-Man - X-Men/Uncanny

The new Transit Hall and Fulton Street Transit Center complex being built in Lower Manhattan at the World Trade Center site gets pretty close, it links up ferries, the New Jersey PATH Trains, and at least 12 Subway lines along with the surface bus system, and eventually it'll also have service from the Long Island

I don't want anything "Internetty" in my car except perhaps Google Maps.

Boeing's built at least one full plane that's only job is to be stressed the fuck out totally by weights and pulleys and overpressure and underpressure in the cabin. Simulating decades of flying time in mere months. So yeah as long as that data is shared with safety inspector organizations I think we'll learn enough

The hatch on the back is not a door ... its a hatch.

THERE ... ARE ... FOUR ... DOORS!!

Social Networking apps for cars, and Sync by Ford/Microsoft.

Smog from New Delhi combined with farmland dust and construction dust. They're still building a big cricket stadium, a Basketball arena, a Field Hockey place and a golf course around the F1 Track area so its still got loads of active construction going on quite nearby.

To get NASA back to where it should be. When China lands on the Moon I want America there with a turnstile waiting for them to pay the toll.

That makes no sense at all. NASA needs a massive new infusion of money NOW and forever in the future.

Education cannot be said to be "winning" in any budget that treats NASA the way its being treated now.

More reason/incentive to walk everywhere in NYC I guess.

Yah but the CTS looks so much better than that 500 ... the 500 looks like a kids toy.

Many ways except actually carrying anything home with you other than yourself :-)

I'm in the Upstate NY suburbs, I'd never drive anything in the City. My ideal car is an Outback Station Wagon or my "Lottery win" car would be the Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon. If I was in NYC I wouldn't own a car to begin with though.

You can't be serious, can you? It looks like half a car ... or 1/3rd of a car at best.
