If anything your point really highlights the true bullshit — that it’s all faked bullshit. The entire premise of the show is bullshit - this would be a real borderline psych study that would only redeem itself through contributing better understanding of the human mind, and in this format it can’t make any such

Not sure this is even relevant to a discussion of flying cars. This is a fancy (overdone, really) ultralight type vehicle. Flying cars will happen someday, but they’ll probably more closely resemble a multirotor drone and no human will ever truly “drive” one.

Is that really that valuable? This is a patio-type deal, keep your dinner party clear. Doesn’t seem optimized for backcountry work. So if I really wanted to travel with it to some Air BnB somewhere, shopping is no big deal.

New product “firsts” are annoying. There are numerous pyrethroid based mosquito repellent products on the market, using a rechargeable battery hardly seems like a noteworthy improvement on existing products (that often use butane for heat, are simply lightable/burnable).

Thanks. As a photographer I should have realized there’s as much variety in preferred techniques as there are painters.

Excuse my possible ignorance - what does a longer sitting offer that a well documented (photos) sitting cannot? I assumed for major works like this there wasn’t much actual sitting anymore, just a bit of a photoshoot to collect some angles and poses, then the painter goes to work.

Further down thread I acknowledge managed environments. Basically patch immediately, or take full responsibility for the security of the machines including locking down threat vectors and containing them in a private network. That’s my day job, though corporate and no Macs.

Oh, only an entire industry. That’s my day job.

You’re stubbornly sticking with an OS that’s going to stop receiving security updates in time, as they march forward. A company can’t be expected to keep applying security updates to legacy products, and it’s irresponsible to have a machine on the internet that isn’t up to date.

Help me out — How about clicking the “one hour” or “tonight” buttons, or if those windows really, really don’t work try “Remind me tomorrow.”

I was trying to recenter the discussion. There is a Federal investigation into Trump and his campaign’s dealings with Russia, with their ties. That’s the big stink right now. Talks of vote manipulation are just strawman arguments put up as a defense, so they can laugh and point and ridicule those dumb fucks for buying

Nice whataboutism. Did I mention Hillary? Funny how many people are obsessed with the person not in the White House.

My comment was limited to whether or not Russia tampered with votes, which to my knowledge has not been proven in any meaningful way.

It lasting a year is an endorsement? I’m in need of a wallet, after about 8 years my current one is a bit worn (but still fully functional, nothing broken).

You do realize by now that autopilot, in aircraft, is just glorified cruise control ... right? The name fits well, your expectations were incorrect.

Artifact of the size and brightness, mixed with newer technology. LED lamp, not as bright but exceptionally long life.

Been a long time since I saw either, but I remember thinking they were grossly different. Not that it’s out of line for an adaptation, but there was definitely a lot changed and tweaked.

I reported it, though Twitter is more concerned with actionable things than “this is distasteful” so perhaps it was wasted effort. Give it a shot at least.
