All I can see when I look at that is Mr Boh.

There may not be an actual error, but it's rather disingenuous to use a quote from 2010 that says a woman hasn't been featured for her accomplishments since 1996 without making it clear that the quote is no longer true. It's also disappointing that you feel that a cleavage photo somehow negates Wired's recognition of

VOTE: Linode

Pet peeve - clickable images that don't actually get bigger. Otherwise, awesome article.

Good thing about being out in the boonies - I've only got a half a dozen networks in my area. Unfortunately they're spread out - some 6 plus odd ones in the grey areas between the clear channels. No real strong signals near my channel 11 though. Don't think it's interference anyway, since desktops and laptops on my

Probably something more complex then - not getting on well with my router or another wireless device in my neighborhood. Which is another vote in favor of always having a wired option to fall back on.

I'm a big fan of plugging in, but wireless is growing on me. I switched two desktops to wireless with microscopic USB N adapters from Amazon because I realized the tasks (internet streamer for the kitchen, kid's PC) didn't really need wires. I've still got my desktop and various file and domain servers (I'm an IT pro

I'm with you other than an adjustment to the last paragraph - If he refused to aid someone in need because of race, he needs brought up on criminal charges. But that's just speculative and generated by frustration at the extra layer of defense any public service figure gets - Guilty as sin or not, it's not uncommon to

Artistically neat, but I'd much rather skip the part on top of the table and just add a few screws to the bottom. Ikea makes a few different styles of legs that simply screw onto any old chunk of wood / counter / etc to make a solid tablet, real cheap. It's a nice concept. I scavenged a bit of counter out of old

I actually missed the "phone" bit of the comments above. I'm talking about a real camera.

The principles behind a bounce card and / or diffuser work on any camera, even a point and shoot. Though instead of pointing the flash up and bouncing it back at the subject you're usually stuck with aiming at the subject then bouncing off a nearby wall or ceiling with your bounce card. I've had a lot of luck

I don't even deal in data presentation in any form, but I've always been in love with his work. I need to invent a hobby that lets me apply the techniques.

Does Lifehacker do #COTD ?

I think you might be onto something on the phone / tablet thing. I have ICS on my Vibrant too, and it is more slick than my tablet. The tablet experience with Android is nice, I think, but a bit of a stretch (literally and figuratively) trying to keep the same UI elements from the phone OS.

Not to get into comparisons to WP7 and IOS, but I have to speak up about all the rethemes of Android — I've always felt, going back to the 1.5 days, that they were universally uglier than the stock OS - even when the stock OS wasn't all that hot to start with.

Replying to approve. Great reference.

To add to the No Like - The high speed operation foams the juice some. Not a problem in itself, just let it settle a bit. But, out of the box the spout doesn't quite make contact with the lid on the collection cup, so as the cup fills with foam and liquid the air from the spout starts to blow the foam out of the cup

Read the title, give it another think, and laugh.

Hulu + Netflix on my Roku made me go legit on all my media (even got Spotify and went legal on music). Hulu is already starting to irk some - Eureka is starting back up, but I can't watch them directly on my Roku - web only. Installed Plex on my retired XBMC machine, OK - now I'm sorta legit. Bit of a grey area. Bit

Mine's covered with dinner and the general mess of a weekend home with three kids, so I'll spare the internet an actual picture for the evening. But, it looks like this one, without the fake drawer and lower shelf. And in lighter wood too. Still, this is the closest I could find to mine: [www.amazon.com]
