My understanding is the "Plus" is a true RGB screen - no subpixel silliness involved at all. Which makes me seriously tempted, even though I'd just be stepping up a half inch from my SGS.

This won't help you read your email - that's still up to you. This is saying to relax when it comes to storing / archiving email. As long as your email client or server offers a good search function, you don't need to categorize it, just dump it in a collection and search.
People create religion. So yes, the ultimate blame is on people. But the act of creating and pursuing religion has caused more heartache, pain, and suffering than just about any other activity man has done.
Yes, it's a B&N product. And they certainly market it for reading. I'd argue, though, that it was designed as a multipurpose device, not a reader. They were trying to capture some of the iPad market, and given the price point they hit and the hardware they're shipping - they did well. But that doesn't make it a…
Very true. I do no business with Netflix though, so its not a personal issue for me.
Shit, don't give them any ideas. I already think I'll punch the first person who identifies with Anonymous to my face, just on principle. When they break my phone I'll be real pissed.
"Best tablet value." That says it all. I'd love a tablet, but it won't replace my Kindle - different use cases. e-Ink is for reading books. Tablets are for multimedia tasks - games, surfing, video, etc.

Looks surprisingly good. Can't wait.
I've never seen it in a regular phone book, but the local libraries in every town I've lived in so far (used to) have reverse directories available. Since reverse lookups are so simple online these days, that may have fallen into disfavor.
Yes - but in the comment its just a broken image. I've also run into some where it was backwards - embed works, but clicking it gives you a 404. Just buggy.
Bullshit images.
And for some reason, the new Gawker doesn't let me approve & promote. Does a reply do it? .. It does - Brilliant!
Merging windows ... Is it really a challenge that requires an extension? I split and merge windows all the time by grabbing the tabs I want to move and dragging them. It can't take more than a second or so per tab.
Hah, me too. Makes me think someone's found a trick of easily getting into idle accounts.
