Early on he checked a guest log and closed it after seeing the top post - probably checking in and not finding anything new.

I need your sunsets (or seats, visors, height, something..) now, as a grownup. Don't think I had any more or less sun in my eyes as a kid - I'm still perpetually ducking, leaning, etc to get a clear view and the visors never quite reach the right place.

Thanks.

I just tracked that down too. Still beyond me why someone would link to that shady looking second string website over the official press release, but looks like it is still the real deal.

Everyone's got a different technique, but my workflow usually involves a page open in the browser, the page source open in another tab and the code opened in my editor. Having highlighting in the page source view will be a definite help.

They aren't actively reacting any longer. The current heating issues are from decay heat - basically, lingering activity in the fuel that drops off with time. From Wikipedia -

I don't have an answer, but it may aid your search to know the control rods are *removed* to start/increase the reaction. Inserting the rods dampens and/or stops the reaction.

Bingo. I get the salad bar for the large selection and the opportunity to customize a salad. I'm going to choose what I enjoy, with no thought of cost beyond whether I can afford to treat myself to a night out. If I'm pinching pennies, I'm going to cook myself an enjoyable meal at home for far less.

@demarcmj — You still get an indicator in the notification area of silent or vibe.

Not sure which HTC you have, but on both my G1 and SGS I can quickly mute my ringer by holding the volume down key. It goes down one level, pauses about half a second, then drops to vibe, with none of the intermediate noises you get from tapping the volume key. Not to say it's quicker than your widget, but certainly

@ddthesm: Wondered if anyone would catch that. :D

My network - if the image works. Never paid much attention to Gig ethernet or N wireless until I realized most of my devices supported them, so - upgrade time.

"Thus, while they're cheaper than switches, they're only really useful for, say, servers that you're sending data to from multiple machines."

Multiple switches are fine. Just understand that anything attached to that switch will share just one link back to the internet or to any devices not on that switch. Only really going to be an issue if you have multiple devices pushing around multi-gigabyte files routinely.

@jsucamel — The comparison wasn't classical composers to rock musicians - its early electric guitar pioneers to later electric guitar players. PrairieMoon's point is valid on that one - poor choice of comparison.

During normal operation, the power generated by the plant certainly would run the plant. But the emergency response action was to shut down the reactor - stopping power generation. And the grid was out. So they had to rely on backup generators and batteries, which didn't last long enough.

Sounds like an airlift of generators would have been more useful.

Only skimmed the first page of comments, but no one noticed the second glaring fuckoff to sensible design in the example picture? The line with broken circle is the standard symbolism for an on/off (or officially speaking, on/standby) control. So, that switch says.. On / On / Standby. Graphical equivalent to "ATM
