Its pretty much an evolved version of CSGO (the formula hasnt changed in decades lol). It will really only be enjoyable for people who have a squad and can dedicate time to learn teamwork and strategy.

It’s definitely 90% Counter-strike, 10% Overwatch/Hero Shooter. The powers are not really the focus, they’re overwhelmingly more about creating opportunity for gunplay than they are about getting kills. Far more tactical. So I wouldn’t call it an evolution, but an interesting wrinkle on an old formula.

It’s CS + Hero powers, so now things like team composition and character-specific counterplay matter.

It’s definitely much more Counter Strike than Overwatch. Which I haven’t played enough of to say whether it’s evolving the genre or not, but I thought it was fun when I played the beta.

The truth can be just as mind boggling as the farce.
