There’s enough irony in that statement to build a bridge out of.

The reason there’s a “boo fucking hoo” at the end is likely because these people voted against the very people who would’ve helped them out of their morass, but they’re more than happy to vote against their own self-interests if it means they can keep the “other” under heel.

I’m not so sure. When the scale is tipped so far to one side, you can’t counterbalance by landing somewhere in the middle. I think it’s going to take some new, unconventional ideas to get people out to the polls again - feel-good, Obama-era politics aren’t going to do it next time. People want a fight, not a

Ok, is Classic only going to have PvP servers? If not, I don’t think this whole hunting thing is gonna be an issue.

It really boils down to a choice of whether you want to die by plane crash or derailment.

It’s about ownership.

Because it’s more enriching to be a pharisee than an apostle.

It’s very telling that Christians are against gay relationships because of the sex...ever notice how they never talk about love? It’s always just about sex, because Christians will never be happy until everyone’s as sexually miserable as they are.

Talibangelism is a helluva drug.

This is why school funding has been continually cut for decades, as knowledge is the natural enemy of fear.

Pepsi or GTFO. Just sayin’. :p

When I worked in Phoenix during the Obama years, one of my best friends and co-workers was Republican (I’m an Independent). We didn’t agree on a lot but at least she challenged my worldview and brought to light things that I may not considered. Now? If you have a differing opinion suddenly you’re ignorant or a liar.

The problem is that most of the logical ones already agree with me. How can anything change if we can’t engage the minds of people who disagree?

After the 2016 election, I’d be surprised if voters didn’t have to stop chewing gum just in order to taste it.

It could be that my inability to have decent discourse is just weighing heavier than it should. How can anyone learn anything if they’ve already made up their minds? I’m not saying I’m right on everything either, but I can’t even get people to back up their claims with facts or evidence so that I might be able to

The reason so many people shop Walmart online is because their stores are hell on earth, whereas Costco is the closest you can get to wholesale heaven. That being said, coffins and doomsday survival kits are better purchased online.

Oh, I’ll keep voting, but I won’t really be all that invested in what the outcome is. So many people voted against their own self interests (or, at 58% turnout, didn’t vote at all) that I find it hard to find sympathy for anyone who’s complaining about how things are now. We asked for this - anyone who says otherwise

I kinda gave up on that - I tried having a political discussion with someone on Twitter and it was about as productive as yelling at an aquarium. I’m pretty much done with political discussions - if we’re gonna be stupid, then I’m just gonna ride this spiral into oblivion and be done with it...at least I’ll get a lot

Considering that humanity being alone in the universe is a mathematical impossibility, my concerns about about teeth being places where they ought not - and perhaps psychic parasitism - should be taken far more seriously than they currently are.

They keep the bed warmer during the winter months, so I’m told.
