“30 percent of dealers would not offer an EV even if one was available”
“30 percent of dealers would not offer an EV even if one was available”
This. All day, this. These people did this to themselves. This is either no training or not paying attention. Like you, I’ve launched 100s of boats, all up and down Vancouver Island and the mainland. This just doesn’t happen without user error.
Based on Ram’s description, it appears to be a plug-in series hybrid electric vehicle. The truck only receives propulsion from the electric motors, but has a range-extending gas engine onboard that powers a generator. The truck can determine how to use the generator’s power, depending on how much power it needs to…
The people who own Ridgelines absolutely love them. As much hate as this vehicle got from “real truck people” when it was launched, these things hold their value incredibly well and are adored by their owners. It still doesn’t really have a true competitor either - no one else in the US market has made a pickup on the…
Good call. My grandfather towed a smaller 5th wheel with his gen 1 dakota and loved it. Also I have wanted a Comanche since they were new.
I took your comment to mean a “12VOLT Cummins” - and my brain broke...
Here is the real problem. Rider in the front of the motorcycle not being in charge!
I think there’s also a certain extent to which being in a car enables anti-social behavior in a way a bike doesn’t. It’s a lot easier to be a jerk with 150+hp, 3000lbs of metal and glass, and concealment providing a sense of anonymity than it is with your own two legs and exposure to your immediate environment. Not to…
Stellantis is moving towards EV. They have the Charger EV coming out and the Jeep Recon will be out next year. It is an EV with “Wrangler” chops apparently.
Depending on the quirks, this puppy has an easy 250k or more to go, so that is a NP.
Viper only if it was a 1999 or earlier model. After that, Chrysler was a German/European company.
K-Car(s) - Toss the Caravan in there too.
Because Americans in particular consider “sedan” a low-to-the-ground car, whereas “coupe” gives off a more sporty vibe.
The Taurus SHO came with a 60 degree 32V V8, sounds like a normal V8.
My dad used his on his property, and did tractor rides up until he passed 10 years ago....
I can see that horrible interior color. I think they called it “saddle.” They did vinyl tops and rub strips and even wheels in that same color, and they would pair it with red, navy, even green. Absolutely hideous.
That’s exactly what this would be for me - at minimum the interior and drivetrain would have to go and almost 7 grand for having to pitch pretty much all but the body is way too much money.
They are literally blinded by glare, so they don’t really know where they’re going, I imagine they’re just panic-leaping and they also don’t expect that the light is something moving faster than any predator they’ve evolved to deal with. They have wide angle vision, too, so they can be blinded at a greater range of…
Well to be fair at least when it comes to deer, I read somewhere that supposedly the reason they freeze up at night is because of people using high beams, it makes them freeze up, but they are less likely to do it when using regular headlights.
