A lot

I saw 60 on my Grom once! On a long downhill. Tucked. With a tailwind.

Gotta be careful with the pocket knife, especially on stranded wires. If you nick a wire or cut a few strands, it’s the same as reducing the gauge of the entire wire. As far as workmanship-related electrical fires go, damaging wires when stripping is one of the most common causes there is. A lot of pros will use a

If I start looking at strippers, will this jeopardize my political career?  And should I turn on the safe image search?

I can actually answer this because I’m one of the guys that leases those pickups and SUVs to the GSA who then distributes them to the various departments and agencies like your friend’s. To start, the manufacturer incentives for me to buy the pickups over the SUVs are greater, which in turn keeps the monthly lease

How many new cars can even accept an aftermarket stereo now? It seems like just about all of them have their own proprietary screens that makes adding one just about impossible.

Start/Stop technology, and the inability to permanently turn it off.  You have to disable it every time you drive your car (at least on Toyotas).  It is annoying as fuck and I’m not getting any better gas mileage than my old car of the same model without the “feature”.

possibly the BRZ too?

I thought the same thing for a second, but K-swapped Miatas are a big thing, so it’s probably not that tough.

Came here to say exactly this.

I’ve never found leather durable. It cracks, gets shiny, etc., if not very nicely cared for.

On the other hand, I’ve owned 20+ year old Civics with cloth seats that were absolutely immaculate.

lol, Taco’s are cool and all, but I wish they were like 80% of their current size.

But then it wouldn’t be a V10 C10.

“You obviously haven’t spent any time around a Ridgeline.”

Now can they make something that will go into 10-year old Acuras with that stupid tech package? Volvos from the 2000s? Too many of those cars have a bunch of stupid shit tied to the radio for no reason, so you can’t replace the radio.

I’m against infotainment systems in general, but having a single-DIN unit that doesn’t tie-in to the HVAC / other systems would be cool. Might even make it worth getting a back-up camera, if it would plug-in to the unit.

Hire thee a patent lawyer, anon...

They do exist. I’ve never seen one in person, but I’ve seen them for sale.

I can attest to the sloppy steering, having spent a fair amount of time driving my dad’s ‘76 F250 in my youth.  And to make things even more interesting, the power steering was so heavily boosted you couldn’t really tell where the steering play ended.
