SO different! that was what made car buying so fun! You’d go to the showroom with your parents and sit in all of the cars and play with the dashboard controls while your parents talk to the dealer.

My 1962 Willys Jeep with 70HP, 5:38-1 gearing, 4WD Lo, and low 1st gear would crawl over anything. I didn’t need an auto, I just left it in manual and didn’t have to use the clutch much.
VW is most worried because they will own Ford eventually
1960's AMC products are sadly underappreciated. The Rebel was a good looking car.
You just said it. It fills the needs of most people, but they’re not buying it.
Just grab ‘em in the data.
It’s actually an old composite security camera taped to a chair.
Because Americans like to sit up high.
Neutral: This lesbian loves her trucks.
They are taller. The hoods, top edges of the cargo box, and load height of the tailgates are higher. That’s what’s driving the perception that they are bigger.
People who fought for the south are not veterans of the US army. They literally killed US soldiers.
“So get your hate out of here.” Name one episode of the Dukes that showed hate? The flag was not an instrument of hate like the Nazi symbol, it was a battle flag of people who are actually veterans of the US military. Do I support the South’s fight in the Civil War, nope. But I respect the people right to fly that…
No one does this with a 1/2 ton:
Some people consider Country of Origin to be defined by “where the profits go”. That definition makes me wonder what the gross margin % is. If your GM is 10% on average, that means 90% is going to labor, overhead, parts/supply chain, marketing, etc. Which makes the original profit-driven definition kind of arbitrary.
When I first moved to California I went on a date with this college girl who’s parents were insanely rich. This was circa 2000-2001 and her parents had a 50" plasma screen TV built into the wall that had apparently cost close to $10,000. Insane that a better bigger LED version today can be had for 20 Times less.
…
TV prices back in the day - ugh. I paid over $1000 for a 32" Sony Trinitron in the late 90's. After that was an open-box Zenith plasma 42" for $1500. But the most expensive was I bought a Samsung LED TV when they first came out - 55" for $3500. But on a 3yr 0% plan from Best Buy somewhat palatable. And that TV is…
Hmmm. I don’t recall those Libertys being very good. A friend of mine had a diesel one of those and the engine was not that great. So maybe I dodged a bullet on that one then.
Bigger.
I get your point about the Chrysler, but the Ridgeline has a 300lb higher payload capacity than a Tacoma, and has always had a spare tire in the cargo box. Yes, it sucks if you get a flat and the bed is full lumber, but it absolutely has a spare.
