Except Tesla. They are the only manufacturer that makes a fat profit off every EV they sell. But they are still a decade ahead of most other mfrs in the EV game.

My wife had an SUV (Trailblazer) and went back to a sedan (Accord). We live in windy country and the sedan deals with the wind much better than the SUVs do. The sedan also handles much better on icy roads.

Whether they step “up” to a Ranger or F150 will depend on what the buyer wants. It can be difficult to go from a unibody vehicle (with its inherent comfort and efficient packaging) to a body-on-frame vehicle, unless you really need the capabilities of the BoF vehicle (which most people greatly overestimate).

I wouldn’t expect big chamges. A little more power, and slightly better economy (1-2mpg). It’s mostly about having a modern powerplant that will also be emissions-compliant after this year.

I wear glasses with yellow tint.... makes those lights less annoying, and brightens up cloudy days!

This is one of two reasons why mid-size pickup trucks have such tiny tanks. A $60 pill at the fuel pump is easier to swallow than a $100 pill, regardless of MPG.

Aren't Dodge and Maserati owned by the same company?

This would be the perfect bike on my brother’s farm/ranch. Could run ag diesel in it. However, it violates the first rule of being a small farm vehicle... it is far too expensive!  It would need to be within 10% of the price of a typical used 2006 KLR gasser.

I’ve mentioned this on here before, but those who ride without helmets should be forced to sign a waiver denying all insirance coverage while riding helmet-less.

I’ll go with the Dodge Rampage concept truck from a couple decades ago.   Just great overall utility. Better than Toyota’s A-BAT concept truck, even!

And you could probably see two or four heads bobbing around up top of that open-air vehicle, in what looked like multiple eyes such as found on a spider.

Agreed.  I could hear a lot better with a full-face helmet on when speeds got above 25-30mph.

In my area, it was only 69% totality. That, along with massive cloud cover, means we barely saw any perceptible change in ambient light.

Can you still get the height-adjustable suspension? Also, it would have been perfect if they would have added the 360° camera system that’s available on the Pilot.... then maybe my wife would buy one.

EVs will be the ruination of the world!”

Around here, farmers retire at around 80, then buy an $80k GMC.

3rd Gear: Probably the biggest issue is people illegally retrofitting aftermarket LEDs into reflector housings that were designed for halogen bulbs. LEDs require different reflectors, which would require expensive “whole headlight” replacements, and folks are just plain too selfish to go for that.

Not a Tesla fanboi, but thought i’d offer alternative food for thought.

Don’t know all of the cars, but i’m partial to certain greens and burnt oranges. Best green i can remember was a darker green with embedded gold glitter, on a ‘67 Dodge Monaco, and saw a similar color on a Subaru about 8 years ago.

I think the original spirit behind tractor pulls was to improve the breed. IOW, find out what works best to get the most power out of an engine, weight distribution to traction wheels, total weight, tire characteristics, transmission characteristics, etc. In the end, all of that useful information could be used to
