THanks. I meant Yukon XL but got my brain wrapped around Suburban/Tahoe.

Seems like there are some vehicles missing here, as well as questions about how they measured.
Customers turned to taller shit so that they could see over and around everyone else’s taller shit when in traffic. It’s a self-defeating Catch-22, and the big truck manufacturers are eating it up and laughing all the way to the bank.
The folks who market these trucks know that 50% of truck buyers believe they are in the 2% who do hard-core offroading. It sells.
Biggest problem with current Ranger is the unsettled suspension. I wonder if they finally fixed it?
Supposed to be coil.
The tall hood is so that you can't see pedestrians.
It occurs to me that racing rules and restrictions have stifled many innovations since the mid-60s.
I’d be interested, if it’s road-legal in the U.S. It would be more palatable at $9999, though.
It’s too bad Honda doesn’t offer more manual transmissions. It’s one of the things they do best, and they’re so stingy with it. Instead they give us half-assed automatics in nearly everything.
I think Toyota patented a method for using a manual trans with a hybrid powertrain, so your Hail Mary might just be a first down.
Because it’s cheaper to manufacture*, cheaper to repair, more reliable and lighter in weight. Makes sense, huh?
Does it have any rattles?
I have a prosumer Echo 225GT weedeater that I got back in 2006. I’ve never had to do anything to it except add fuel. I’ve run TruFuel in it for the last decade.
I’ve heard that Honda is getting out of the ICE lawn mower business, and there is a vicious rumor that they are also leaving the snowblower business, at least in the U.S. This at a time when I was contemplating purchasing a nice Honda 928 tracked snowblower. 😞
Spraying dandelions in the spring/summer may kill the plant, but not the roots. Therefore, the plants will grow right back.
I looked into those robot mowers. They seem ideal, but apparently they can’t handle debris like twigs, lots of leaf litter, etc. I have three green ash trees in my yard that are always dropping twigs and small branches. I’d spend as much time picking them up as I do pushing a mower around.
Somebody’s been watching too many Iron Man movies....
It all has to do with ROI (Return On Investment). To simplify, I’ll use full-size and mid-size trucks to demonstrate:
They stopped making FWD Ridgelines in 2019. They are all AWD now. If you want a 4wd/awd that gets better mpg, you have to go hybrid or diesel, or Santa Cruz (which is too small).
