When I was younger, before the internet, I’d say just about any motorcycle during nice weather. Now that the road is littered with mobile phone booths, I don’t ride anymore for the benefit of my wife’s sanity. Maybe she’d let me ride if i tripled my life insurance payout? :)

1st Gear: does this mean we will mo e toxic lithium mining to the U.S.? Asking for a friend....

“That there Ridgeline is just a minivan with the back cut off and a bed added to it”.

A Ford Fusion hybrid we had at work. Anything beyond twenty miles or so was hell on your back. The car rode like a skate board, literally!

Ref: vegetable trees?

It needs those retro-reflective panels.

I have a five-mile commute to work, but would have to share the road with speeding trucks. My wife would be scared to death if I rode a bike around that traffic.

By now, I was hoping we’d have tethered satellites carrying miniature nuclear reactors to send power back to earth.  They could only develop power at night, though, due to cooling requirements....

I’d stick 2 or 3 on there, hidden deep inside (like under/behind the battery), just to keep the thieves guessing. One inside each tire would be ideal, if they can be secured and the wheels re-balanced. One in the gas tank would be cool if it didn’t disintegrate, but may not have a good signal in there....

Those trucks tip over pretty easily.

I think that happens a lot more than you would believe.  What's worse is that the end buyer will never know about it.  Vehicle damages do not have to be disclosed before initial sale.  Always thoroughly inspect any vehicle you are buying.

That's kind of Honda's modus operandi, it seems.  Their vehicles are always one or two steps short of perfect, and once they do perfect them, they discontinue them and move on to something else.

I'm holding out for the V16.

There's another guy out there that just crossed 500k in his Ridgeline.

Yes, I hope they get it all sorted out. Seems like it would be a snappy little truck if it had a manual.

Huh? Plenty of folks towing campers with their Ridgelines... haven't heard of any bearing failures.

Colorado/Canyon - nice refresh, nice engine, so-so transmission, can’t get a rear sliding window...

Probably a Genesis G70 for Mom (but I’d have to put Chevy bowtie emblems on it, because they’re old-school and don’t believe in furrin’ vehicles). And a top-trim Suburban for Dad.

Because all the truck bros live and die by how much a truck can tow, even if they never tow with it.

I’d rather buy 2 or 3 Ridgelines with that wad of cash. Ridgeline gets knocked for only towing 5000lbs, but I bet it tows more pounds per hour than this Lightning does... 😀
