HRV, like the CRV, has a rather pedestrian AWD system. It doesn’t offer the performance of the SH-AWD/ iVTM4 system found in TLX, RDX, MDX, Pilot, Passport and Ridgeline.

It’s a great truck if you have no need for, say, a custom utility box or flatbed, but I see very few mid-size trucks with odd configurations.

I drive full-size trucks (LD and HD) at work all the time. That may be why I have no desire to own a typical BoF truck (actually, I did own a ‘92 V8 Dakota for 8 years). I needed a truck at home, didn’t want a truck, so got the Ridgeline. It’s been a fantastic decision going on 2.5 years!

It’s funny that company execs had to be cajoled into accepting the sedan. Honda has always put more emphasis on their sedans than their SUVs.

I don’t think the Civic platform will hysically house an AWD drive train, unless the rear is powered by electric motors.

Osage Beach is in the middle of Missouri. Local time for sunset on June 5th was 8:32pm, with Civil Twilight at 9:04pm.

A yellow (yellow is the American racing color!) Corvette or a red, white and blue Jeep Wrangler.

NP. I remember when these came out, they were actually better-specced than the Toyotas, Datsuns and Mazdas that were prevalent. They were undersung, though, because associated Chrysler was 3rd-dog in the Big3.

I keep several cheap 8gb thumbdrives in the console.  Each has a different genre of music, like classic rock on one, top40 on another, old country on another, Christmas on another, etc.  Then I just pop in whatever I'm in the mood to listen to.  I've got thousands of mp3s, but mostly listen to just a couple hundred of

I agree that oem NAV will be going away, and AA/CarPlay will be the go-to for most people.

Doh!  That's right.... it's been over 30 years since I drove that car.  They called it 1.5 DIN.  Very easy to replace with aftermarket, though.

I would give up a lot of those extra features for simplicity and upgradeability. It’s refreshing to hop into my work truck and be able to quickly (relatively) know how to work all of the features.

The main reason is it being cheaper.

My ‘76 Charger SE, for one. Had two shafts, but stacked vertically on the left.

Looks like my late Dad’s car. I’m gonna go with NP just because you can’t get cars like this anymore.

Any HU that also incorporates vehicle settings is just bad. Bad, bad, BAD! They are worse than the AM-only double-DIN that came in your early-70s car.

I knew a logger once. He was very good at what he did.  We would call him a pro logger.

I'm not even going to mention the pigtail bridges in the Black Hills of South Dakota...

Remember when truck owners needed to be told they had a 4x4 with big ol’ badges on the sides of the bed?

I like the old pre-80s badges, from the likes of Olds, Pontiac and even Plymouth.
