If I’m tackling a job I haven’t done before, I like to watch a few utube videos beforehand.

Don't know about state or county government, but federal government spends a huge amount of taxpayer dollars simply filing excessive paperwork that ensures fiscal responsibility. I suspect they waste more dollars ensuring fiscal responsibility than would be mis-allotted by corrupt assholes.
Another source of slow leaks is alloy rims often corrode over time and allow microscopic leaks around the bead. This typically takes a decade or more, unless the rims have been subjected to corrosive materials (or some nasty air (nasty moist particles) being pumped into the tire).
TBH, I have noticed a number of Trump supporters driving Fords, for what that’s worth.
This car is the culmination of what should have been number one on the list of movies to be made about cars. Chrysler brought out a lot of engineering ingenuity to win NASCAR races in the 60s, and NASCAR officials had to keep changing the rules to keep Chrysler from dominating the tracks.
I’ve always liked the design of this car. It just needed to lose the bumpers and add a 100hp or so, and another gear, to be a decent ride.
Military motorcycle that runs in JP-8? Turbine is the answer. Tiny and powerful. Add some heat shields and you're good to go. The Air Force mechanics can handle the repairs.
There are a lot if Smoky Yunick stories out there. One of my favorites is when he built a 7/8-scale NASCAR race car. He dominated the raceway with much faster speeds. It took the officials a bit to figure out that he had a smaller frontal area to cheat the wind at 180+ mph.
Gotcha. LEDs are SO MUCH BETTER when they are used in housings that are actually designed for them.
You can’t put LEDs in the real old round lights. Those are all encased all-in-one housings. You are talking about something newer, or some kind of hybrid light.
Can’t they make these cars just a little less powerful off the line and then get better range in return?
There’s actually a higher failure rate on LEDs than most would like to admit. And they are pretty pricey to replace.
I’d even heard someone was making LED retrofits for those old round headlights. Since the housing is built-in and designed for the LED, there are no issues with LED glare shooting out everywhere like on all these cars where owners replace the halogens with LEDs (which is illegal, btw).
1) head units that aren’t integrated into the vehicle settings
Alpine A310, huh? At first glance, I thought it was a Corvarri. Ya know, like Sonny Crockett drove in Miami Vice?
An extendable tongue would probably help with backing up (and no, I don’t mean making faces!).
Very much this. Pickup trucks really need to start doing this, especially since their angle of attitude varies with a load in the bed or pulling a trailer.
Agreed, and sorry for the confusion. I merely meant to point out that there seems to be enough use case (in the HD trucks) to keep the N/A V8s around, so those may still be an option in LD trucks, also.
I think part of the problem is that cars have become too isolated from their roadway environment.
I just wanna see this engine in some affordable vehicles. Straight Six is where it's at!
