You can in some states. I can drive the Roxor down the highway here.

Not to mention you can run cheap off-road diesel in the Roxor. Can’t wait until they come out with a version with PTO... that could run a few things on the farm, including a PTO-driven generator.
It seems a lot of folks are hell-bent on comparing this to the late 90s Integra instead of the 80s Integra (that actually had four doors).
I think you mean ctrl+c, ctrl+v
I think the problem is that there is nothing wrong with it. It has all of the great attributes of a Si wrapped up in a nicer looking package, probably with an even better interior and better handling.
That might work, if technology advances enough over the next five decades. We still haven’t addressed planting or harvesting crops when under a time crunch. Some of these operations work through the night when needed. Swappable batteries?
It’s ok, I understand if you don’t get it. You’ve probably never done any ranching or farming. It’s going to take a lot more infrastructure and tech to get us anywhere close to even being close. I don’t see that happening in the next 20 years. Maybe in Kansas City, I guess that is still considered flyover... but not…
‘78 Mercury Zephyr. It was a sporty looking car, and drove sportier with the then-new Fox body platform. It had the straight six with 1-bbl carb, and it proceeded to kill the engine during acceleration, just as you start to get on throttle, every time. Rebuilt the carb, changed plugs, wires, coil, distributor...…
2040 will probably get you infrastructure charging along the interstates and major highways. Where I grew up, the nearest Interstate was two hours away, and major highways were an hour away.
Yeah, and how long will it take to charge that 2500 pickup truck pulling a gooseneck trailer with a dozen cattle in 80-90 degree heat two hours to auction? Note that if you leave those cattle sit for much longer than ten minutes, heat exhaustion sets in. Those trailers need to keep moving to keep those cattle cool.
IME, Polaris is like the VW or Ford of the offroad world.... fun as hell, but starts to nickel and dime you to death in repairs after a couple years.
Here’s an example off the top of my head. My brother farms in a very rural area. Nearest town over 2000 people is an hour away. He routinely takes cattle to market using a gooseneck trailer and 2500-series pickup, hauling the cattle two hours to auction. There is one town with a population over 2000 people along the…
You may have mis-read me. I am certainly NOT saying let’s not do anything. We absolutely HAVE to make changes. All I am saying is that the costs will be greatly prohibitive in some parts of the country.
It’s easy to say we should give up gasoline.... when you live in a major city.
Perhaps on the Ford implementation. Haven't heard of any leaks on the Acura/Honda system.
Correct. It’s one of the best AWD systems out there, rivaled only by the Acura/Honda SH-AWD/iVTM-4 system. They make those Subaru, BMW and Audi AWD systems look archaic.
Wait, nobody said their car uses less gas if they put it in neutral when coasting?
Well, yeah, hence the word “future” in my comment. Ya gotta start somewhere, and sometimes it helps to think of all the bases you would like covered along the way.
Yeah, but the MDX will handle snowy, icy roads better. Put some winter tires on that twin-clutch SH-AWD and it’ll be a winter-driving beast.
Maybe a future version will be programmed to go straight to the nearest ER....
