Archer finally…cares? A little? About his co-workers? What?

Sentient meat, right? That's what I heard the first time, then I wasn't sure, then Marty got me third-guessing.
It's wonderful that Almost Human went out on a quiet note. Not that a cyborg serial killer who uses Bundy's wheelchair gag to kidnap and 3D-print people is quiet, exactly.
You're 100% right. Huh, I forgot it before the episode even ended. It obviously made a huge impact on me.
I actually really enjoyed the surreality of that scene. The black goo turkey was a bit much, as was some of the dialogue, but I thought the askew vibe was spot on. All the major characters pleasantly interacting over a huge family feast was enough to make my skin crawl.
Well then, that was certainly…a thing. I really want to like this show, but as Sonia said, it has no clue what it's trying to be. It really needs to move from the "Hey, look!" phase to the "Listen!" part. Illyaria's shady, aliens are likely involved, the virus(es) are intended to thin the herd and/or make more silver…
I'm not even done watching, but I had to hop on here just to be incredulous about Julia asking Sara to keep her silver eyes secret and proceeding to lie around her room without her contacts in, opening the door the moment someone knocks. Come on now, show. At least pretend to try.
Intelligence is the blandest slow in my current schedule. It is just so painfully nothing and, for such decorated soldiers, the two lead characters sure are shit at their jobs. Why approach a disease vector without hazmat suits? Oh, you have gloves? Excellent, that's much safer. I'm glad my fictional tax dollars paid…
I was hoping I could stop in this week and say I was wrong, but the Stahl-centric episode turned out to be no such thing despite the fact that she got more than two lines. Her status as a cop chrome was never elaborated upon and didn't do anything for the case. Maldonado, again, let's Kennex off the hook for some…
Empty places didn't bother me so much, but I'm guessing that's due to the fact that I'm binging on the show. I can't remember how I felt about it when I was 16, but I do know it didn't accomplish much, which would have been a massive burn when watching week-to-week.
Yep. Then Nathan Fillion had to show up and be extra awesome and charmingly evil. I've mostly enjoyed S7, even with the overstuffed roster. There's an entire football team worth of slayers now.
Close to wrapping up season 7. Really thought Andrew was lame last season, and he is, but only as a character trait, but as a definition of the character. Any show that introduces a meta-commentary character is good in my book.
Got it. Once I finish Buffy I'll check in with Chuck. I'm actually considering starting from the beginning. It'd be kind of nice to reset back to when Chuck was mild-mannered and not the millionaire owner of Buy More.
Fair point where Dexter's concerned. "Hey, Mike, can you just do 'smug' for the run of the show? Thanks."
Had to upvote you because I don't understand why someone would downvote your comment. Karma balance!
I watched all of Chuck from Day 1. Just because I enjoyed it (well, up til the last season or so) doesn't mean I ever took Sarah seriously as a secret agent. That show was funny, and sometimes touching, but almost never heavy in anything but a campy way. With the Subway ads, slo-mo glamour shots, and Chuck's…
Why's that? Aside from the fact that she's incapable of gravitas, is too hot for this world, and can't be taken seriously as an agent of anything?
At least it'll have Yvonne Strahovski, right? I'd actually rather they replace Jack with Yvonne. She's a walking war crime, but not for mass murder and the biting-out-of-jugulars.
A) Relax.
And he will be again. Thanks, TV, for endlessly giving us things we never asked for. #StopJack2014
