Henson was sort of extra sad to me, because we still needed him/his voice and his kindness. 

Henson was so tragic and at the same time stupid because it was preventable if he had simply taken it more seriously. Same with Jobs. Both of them were quite well off to say the least and could have lived if only they had approached their illnesses with the same iron-will that they did their careers.

The headline should have read “Male Trying to Oust Nancy Pelosi...”, mostly because it’s funny to watch their puzzled and alarmed reactions when they’re treated like they treat others.

I am livid about this. I can’t put it into words. That cop should be fired, shamed, and left to drown in their own worthless cowardice. I have no sympathy for anyone that harms others out of their own lack of courage.

Aside from being shaped by racism, this is yet another example of how poorly everyday (non specialized) police officers are trained at threat assessment and de-escalation.  There is no excuse for an officer to open fire without assessing the situation and asking the person holding the firearm to drop his weapon, even…

The NRA will have dick to say about this shooting; they think the 2nd amendment only applies to white people.
