Peeing *too* frequently is not good for preventing UTIs or your nethermuscles, though. You need a steady stream of pee (ammonia) to do the job, so best to pee every 2 hrs or so, from what I have read and been told at PT.

I had one like that last year. Felt like my kidney was being inflated with a bike pump. Terrifying and agonizing, and the doctor ignored my symptoms so I didn’t get treated until the pain worsened and I was forced to call the overnight staff.

To this day, no doctor has told me to do this. I am in my mid 40s. Had to learn from reading, as usual, sadly. I can’t remember the last time a doctor gave me useful advice or accurate diagnosis.
