It really depends on the manufacturer and your wiring. Quality/age can vary for both. Also, keep in mind that some state agencies and utility providers offer FREE or subsidized CFLs (Mass. did last year, at least).

I have sinuses from hell, all year long, tons of daily ear wax,and had a performated eardrum as a kid.
