This is why I want some of the greedy goblins who pitch to the sharks on ABC to fail. Some of them are already quite successful, and want to expand, expand, expand. When is it ever enough?

I think I've posted this before, but in the 90s, you could get so many sexy/cool shoes in low heels. Now, every pair of flats seems to be made from the same model/pattern, in low-quality materials. And kittens/1.5-2 inch heels are scarce and lame, as you attest. When I browse Zappos, I see the shoe before the price,…
I am right there with you, half of the time. Wiping the floor with my face. Mostly I wear trainers. Occasionally flats. When I need to dress up, a kitten or low-heel wedge is the only thing I can do, coz I can't find fancy-enough flats that don't have witchy pointed toes for my size 100 duck feet.
I have horrible orthopedic issues, and big ugly feet. So I also celebrate this trend because I'm tired of people gawking at my trainers in the office.
Seriously, kitten heels are my mission lately, when I'm not wearing sneakers or flats.
When I would go trick or treating in the 70s/80s, this one elderly couple (huge, amazing house) in a wealthy neighborhood would take a small bowl of candy corn and use a teaspoon to dole out 3 kernels per person. Their house got egged every year, yet they did not take the hint.
I'm glad Slate banned me. It turned me off to DP and the whole site. I was wasting too much time there anyway.
Wow. I think you solved it. {shivers}
Salman Rushdie?
Excellent points in your blog.
I've eaten conch, on the Cape, in the 70s. I caught it and my parents cooked it.
Gah. I want to make my famous vegan potato leek soup right now.
It's just a trap to lure him close to the ocean, into which he will be catapulted from his podium, deus ex machina-style.
A year ago, I switched to CIT bank (online) for much of my savings. The rate for under 25K is .9%, and jumps to .95% over 25K. Also, their 1-year CD allows you to reinvest in it once, and raise the rate once (if their rate increases, which it did recently!) Just reading how excited I am over 1.12% interest indicates…
I think it depends upon what the item purchased.
I'm studying chemistry online, refreshing my Spanish, and submitting health care reimbursement claims. In between multiple walks around the office.
I felt a pinch while reading about how your brother regaled his precious toy to your sister, and all you got was a lousy card. I'm very impressed with your ability to turn things around and tremendous growth. Kudos!
Maybe they agreed on doing a relay race, and you just didn't know it. ; >
There is no good response to schizophrenia.
How sad.
