I thought that Pedrad was one of the funniest women on the current SNL. I'm sad she has left the cast.

This just proves that anyone can get a master's degree these days (I say this as a card-carrying master of something or other).

So, no plastic grass fence separating your sushi from the pickled ginger, then?

For me, it's the wrong tie. Easter Sunday tie looks better that that gray thing. And I say that as a fan of the color gray.

Just to be a nitpicker: The character of Tim Whatley appeared in more than one episode. It was like half a season, if memory serves me.

Frankly, I don't understand why your husband is not shutting this down. Why is the onus on you to address it?

Leona Helmsly-level of despicable.

Vegans and vegetarians are in the minority and are subject to a lot of verbal abuse, so please stop apologizing for Bourdain. I used to be vegan but was not one to preach ever and would often try to hide the fact that I did not eat animal stuff. I know there are vegans/vegetarians who are militaristic and preachy,

The point is he hates people who don't eat meat or animal products. Which is a very blowhardy reason to hate someone.

I've seen him repeat that line on No Reservations, and it was definitely not sarcasm.

Also, historians and archaeologists are constantly learning more about all periods in time. And yes, just ask educators in

Perhaps Geometry should be combined with Shop Class.

I disagree. There are high school student groups of kids who participate in fake stock markets. They learn by using a mock-up scenario, over a long period of time. If a kid can play Monopoly or Life, they can go on to learn more advanced skills.

History is so subjective. How could a historian be objective? I went to a catholic school. There was no way I was going to get the same history lessons as someone in a blue state public school. Roe v Wade? What's that?

We learned about writing checks and balancing checkbooks, but that was it. Of course, that was early 80s.

Proportionately, there are far more tenants than landlords, which is probably why you only see tenant-friendly articles. I have seen advice/conversations on yelp among landlords.

I wish you were my landlord. I still can't a copy of my signed lease. But they took my rental payment.
