It’s not really that visible in either video. The cameraman next to the crewman just sees a foot go under the tire and the rest of his leg going liqu... oh god! What have I done?!

Kimi probably felt bad for his mechanic getting run over, but he couldn’t do anything except stare, he’s a racer, not a medical professional. He’d have just been in the way.

Just want to add that Ferrari was fined €50,00 for the unsafe release, referring to article 28, section 13 (or whatever) which deals with “team released the car in a manner that endangered crewmen and resulted in injury”.

Last weekend’s Pirelli world Challenge race from St. Petersburg, FL airs on CBS Sports on sunday at 3pm EDT. The race being shown is the GT class which is most of the FIA GT3-spec cars.

um... MIRRORS! so conspicuously obnoxious!

I somewhat disagree. many major automakers take 5 years to go from drawings to concepts to final products. Look at the Chevrolet Volt. The Concept was revealed 2007 at Detroit Show, and retail delivery of a vastly different production model (necessitated due to high coefficient of drag of the concept) didn’t begin

There’s pros and cons to releasing ASAP. Cons are what Toyota doesn’t want, which is lots of powertrain problems since they’re outsourcing the engine to BMW, and given Toyota’s reliability record, I don’t think releasing quickly would be in their best interest.

If Toyota released it now, new owners buy them, and then

My dad owned a naturally-aspirated MKIV, so in order for Toyota to really make it better, it has to have 300hp from the factory (in non-turbo form).

And the fact that the engine will be BMW-based Inline-6 since toyota hasn’t made one of those since the last Supra still existed (2002 was when Toyota finally ceased Japanese sales) may be a tough pill to swallow for Supra fans who want Toyota to stick to their sporty roots instead of outsourcing like they did with

NISSAN FORMULA E, McLaren Senna, Italdesign Zerouno Duerta, Lamborghini Terzio... thing, Techrules Ren RS.

What, no Formula E, no Italdesign Zerouno Duerta, no Apollo Intensa Emozione wings? SHAME! Heck, could have included the Techrules Zen RS wing too.

Hey, I’ve been waiting for a new Supra for the last 20 years. Every damn year the last few years Toyota has been teasing us with new sports car concepts (FT-1) and even I said (after hearing the next time we see a reveal wouldn’t be until next year) “Yeah, and even then it will still be a concept reveal and the

FIFY

The Supra has always been Toyota’s halo sports car (at least back in the late 1990s) so it would automatically slot above the GT86 (Celica, anyone) no matter how much horsepower it has. And considering the fact that the previous Supra come with either a 220-hp N/A I6 or 320-hp twin-turbo I6 and the fact that a

Anyone who buys a sportscar with an auto transmission is an idiot, and thus fueling these stats. While an auto is easy to drive (particularly in freeway congestion and cities, due to not having to engage/disengage the clutch every two seconds), I think most people who buy sports cars are Jalopnites who prefer grinding

V8 Supercars is also this weekend, but I couldn’t find streaming or broadcast details.

Yep, or Brazil (though really, who wants to go to crime-heavy Brazil?)

Not all cars have PTS or “individual” choices, but offer them for no additional cost. My Toyota Corolla iM is available in 6 colors: Silver, White, Black, a medium shade of blue, a medium shade of red, and a bright yellowish-lime green. The car I found (and bought) was lime-green. I love it, resale value be damned.

It’s Limestone (lime rock), i think, so either green or orange would technically be wrong. But it’s more of a commemorative color obviously.

Green cars are awesome. My Corolla iM is in Spring Green (more of a neon yellow according to Nintendo as I have Joycons in a nearly-matching color), and it’s soo easy to pick out in a crowded parking lot (assuming I can see over those stupid SUVs)
