You know you’re boring when you use the spindle grille shape from your luxury offshoot brand on your cars. I mean, just look close enough and you can see it hiding in plain sight. (it’s in the inside edge of the headlights where the top section of the lexus spindle grill would be)

The 2018 Camry, if you actually bothered to read the article, has sportier mechanics even for the base model. So it’s not “just the appearance” that makes them less boring.

I have an iM and i too would like the Auris name. Trying to tell people what my car is:

Other person: “What are you?”
Me: “That’s The name, I Am”

Yeah, those Toyotas look great. I’d like to add the Corolla iM but opinion may vary. Not a lot of horsepower, but cool-looking and there’s actually a fandom online.

I don’t think the Corolla iM/Auris is boring, at least in terms of looks and features. It’s a very nice car, but mechanically, it has all of 137hp. Toyota could easily make it a Hot Hatch, but they chose to hot-hatch the Yaris (see World Rally Championship) or Aygo instead.

Hmmm, maybe a dot to separate the words would have helped? My state allows using a * to indicate where you want a NY state outline to appear. My plate choice for my current car would’ve been “IM*FAST” (Corolla iM)

Yeah, i drive a toyota Corolla iM, so naturally, i wanted to make a vanity plate. IM*FAST was my first choice, but family members discouraged it, for obvious reasons.
