Road courses are very spectator friendly, at least depending on the venue. I’ve been to Pocono twice for IndyCar and NASCAR and the track is so large I had to resort to watching most of the race via the on-site TV screens. Road courses also have TV screens at most corners. Cautions there mean lap times in the 5-minute

With ovals, people can see the whole track... at least in theory. Bristol and Martinsville, yes, you can see the whole track. But the bigger tracks mean the cars get farther from you and you can’t really see what’s going on without looking at the giant on-site TVs.

Now playing

The top national series (Nascar Cup) does have rules that require lights and wipers and wet tires, but with only two road courses on the schedule, it’s very unlikely it will rain on a road course weekend. It has come close several times, but when the time came to race, it was a nice Sunny Sunday instead of the wet

Oh no, i was hoping it’d be repaved. Drat.

The 64DD “disc” reminds me of those late 1990s CD drives for computers that required a separate case to insert the disc into then you inserted the case into the drive. I suppose this was because at the time, CD drives in computers were fairly new and the ubiquitous drive trays we are familiar with weren’t yet

This is one of the things I’m afraid of. I recently bought a brand new Corolla iM. Normally, this is not really a fun car (Anything named “Corolla” is a boring car to drive, right?), but while I’m waiting to close on the purchase of the car, the Toyota mechanic takes it and tears ass down the street, testing for a

Well, automotive news in general tends to be slow on weekends. Would you rather have clickbait type stuff like “Watch this fleeing pickup launch into orbit” or motorsports news interspersed with the “click-bait”?

Plus, all Jalopnik is doing is sharing posts from its sub-blog Black Flag.

Oh good, I thought I was in the wrong place when you said “Lord, no!”

Oh I’m Sorry, Is this the “No Boys Allowed” Club? lol

I see what you found there *winks*

$kay?!

Man, I want to play Breath of the Wild. Looks amazing. But considering I never completed Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword, dunno if it’ll be worth it to buy this one. But the price of the console is a bit steep compared to previous consoles. That’s pretty much the only thing putting me off.

What have you been smoking? You’ve never complained before in the two or so years I’ve been on Jalopnik and they’ve been sharing Black Flag posts for a long time.

Jalopnik is a motoring-themed blog. Motorsports is a sub-category of motoring, so therefore Black Flag is a sub-blog of Jalopnik. Many motoring aficionados enjoy not only the car articles, but also racing.

I don’t really understand what you’re complaining about. If you don’t like racing but enjoy other sports, I

CBS Sports is airing Snowmobile racing tomorrow morning at 8am, 9am, 10am, and 11am. The times not being a range (ie. 8am-12pm) means that the races are different events.

Doesn’t GM still own Vauxhall? Or was that part of the Opel deal to PSA?

Mercedes-Benz: Hunger Games Editions?

This is about as dumb as EA’s 15-years exclusivity deal with Porsche.

Not too keen on the FanBoost either, and they currently swap cars instead of battery packs, the latter of which is planned for the new racecar that is expected to debut for the 2018 season (not sure whether it’s 2017-2018 season or 2018-2019 season).

I never said “points for trying”. Credit for trying, especially considering what you said about taking on F1. Credit to me is a totally different thing than points. Points are earned, not given.
