My dad’s 1994 Supra N/A was stolen twice, both times for the Bose stereo. The first time, the car was repaired to factory-spec. After the second time, the repair shop repaired the car in a one-off way: Seeing as the crooks used a crowbar to tear the passenger door handle off to make a key, the shop removed the key

Not really considered overseas. Overseas to me means crossing an entire ocean, such as the Pacific to get to COTA or the Indian Ocean to get to Yas Marina. New Zealand is practically right next door. In other words, somewhere outside of “Australasia”.

Any word on when the first roborace is? I know the series was supposed to start at the first Formula E race this season (or in the actual words, “during the 2016-2017 Formula E season”)...

Yeah, i feel ya. Lost interest in NASCAR a few years ago when we finally realized we had Speed Channel and F1. F1 was great, but with Red Bull and Mercedes having won the last 7 combined seasons, i hate to say that F1 too has become boring, but much less so last year when Haas F1 came into the series.

I primarily enjoy

Unfortunately, if they did that, considering that the minimum time for a race is typically 3-4 hours, that means that drivers would be looking at 8 hours of driving in a single day. Not even the best 24-hour endurance drivers are allowed to drive more than 3-4 hours at a time. The only solution would be to make the

Bring back the side-by-side commercials during the racing and stop changing the rules every fucking season. The race could have been over now.

If this stage format were to be removed after Daytona, like what F1 did with its elimination-style qualifying fiasco last season, drivers would complain because there are championship points at stake. With the F1 thing, the change affected only qualifying and not actual points-paying races.

Yes, i meant NASCAR, lol. The 2005 US GP was mostly due to the safety concerns of the Michelin tyres on that track so the Michelin-equipped teams withdrew before the race started. I don’t count this because the whole field didn’t start.

I didn’t say i wanted both Bristol races removed, just one. Nascar is like, the only series besides local tracks and regional series that visits a track more than once a season. 36 races and more than 20 of them are double races. Why not just make the first visits double-header events that each count towards the full

Two red flags in the span of 7 laps. Then again, it’s the Xfinity series, less-experienced drivers.

I wonder if there’s ever been a race in which 10 or fewer cars finished the race.

I know, it sucks they’re so popular despite being so boring. I don’t see the appeal of watching a car conveyor belt and you can’t even find your driver...

Even the IMSA race at Lime Rock in Connecticut, usually a lower-end race due to the short track (only 1.5 miles and no grandstands AT ALL), tends to attract crowds from all OVER. Twice, I’ve seen the same exact Porsche 911 with Hawaii plates at the IMSA races at Lime Rock. I’ve seen plates from Virginia and farther

Actually, I read that year of the V8 race that the series wanted to add another race somewhere in the western hemisphere to make the logistics more affordable. Grouping multiple nearby tracks on adjacent weekends like F1 does with COTA then off to Mexico City is much, much cheaper than going to COTA then heading to

I’d rather get rid of the dual Bristol or Martinsville weekends. Conveyor belt tracks are just awful.

I read every word... somehow this article was more exciting than an actual NASCAR race.

Ovals have gotten sooo boring. As I watch this Xfinity series race at Daytona, I am spending more time browsing the circuit database at RacingCircuits.info (awesome site! check it out!) than actually watching these big pileups.

Also the repetitiveness of going to Daytona, Talladega, Charlotte, Bristol, Martinsville

W08, what? (“Wait, what?”)

“Single-seater” but doesn’t make it a center-seat like a McLaren F1. I would’ve expected a center-seat for better lateral weight distribution especially on a track (regardless of drag strip or road course).

$kay bait, activated!

I’ll take a Viper ACR... But i’ll settle for my Spring Green Toyota Corolla iM :D
