I love those doors... and those biohazard-symbol wheels. :D

I love this idea. However, if this is an open-top car, why have doors in the first place?

Does the W Motors Lykan’s reverse butterfly doors count? What about Koenigsegg’s style?

And for what it’s worth, the first modern butterfly doors, in mass-produced cars and supercars, was on the 1990 Toyota Sera, which inspired Gordon Murray to add them to his McLaren F1 in 1992. Sure, The Alfa 33 did it first. But it

Are you a fellow member of the Itteh Bitteh Kitteh Committeh?

Probably sedated with catnip or a small dose of ketamine. For a normal cat, at least.

This is anything but a normal cat. Such awws, many feelz.

Would rather get the cheaper MatTracks system, but this method replaces the actual wheels with a 2/3rds-speed tread system.

I just got back from time-traveling, give me a break, huh?

I’m so happy for him! For some reason, i always look for his name in the position scroller even though he doesn’t have much to his name and the team is a back-marker. This is about as awesome as Haas F1 finishing on the podium in Sochi.

My dentist has flush-mounted ceiling lights (like the kind you would find in businesses), I’m scared to visit him because they are never cleaned, and there’s gotta be like dozens of dead arthropods inside them (realistically, only a few each light). But at dentists, you’re always looking at the ceiling, so...

Fahey, was this the spider you saw?

What a wuss. I save my spiders and release them back outside. Except for that giant one that freaked my dad out so much that he killed it before I could save it.

I do prefer jumping spiders over all others, they’re so adorable!

Mine have a negative screw that covers a hole in the glass and allows easy access. These, however, might require something like a Sonic Screwdriver... OK, maybe a tiny allen wrench to undo a set screw in the metal on the ceiling? I’ve never had these had, so i dunno.

Tell visitors that “It’s stuck there because of a wayward pocket of anti-gravity” and they’ll never bother you anymore.

“OMG A cowboy hat! What is this delightfully-weirdly shaped head attire like? AHHHHHHH, such fun, very shade!”

Dan Gurney nod FTW. I thought I was the only one who noticed that.

Audi do that?

I know Audi got penalized quite a bit for it last year at Silverstone...

I’m surprised the drivers can’t seem to make that final corner, that’s a fairly easy corner (at least in video games)

Most tire barriers these days have a thick plastic wrap around it so the cars snag a little bit less. It works, but it’s still far from perfect.

Hmmm, Sebastian Vettel prefers to go out at the last second because it gets him poles, yet qualifies what, 3rd? How’s that plan working out for you, Seb?

The LED panels on IndyCars also display pit lane time during races; not sure if the endurance racing versions of the panels do this. As for the “image loading” scrolly, it seems to occur if the car goes off the track, which suggests a possible GPS element, or if the car spins.
