And for the love of all that’s motorized, get rid of those sponsor decals on throwback liveries... WHY does “76” appear TWICE on the same side of the car? And people can’t see these labels ANYWAY, so why waste space that could be used to make the liveries more visible and thus more enjoyable??

*Rant over*

Kyle Busch does drive a green Interstate Batteries #18 livery from time to time.

Nah, just drive that botmobile in the race. Gen-6 car and regulations be damned.

Nah, Beast Mode is too busy hawking Skittles on the Home Shopping Network.

How about not only replicas of the liveries, but the bodies as well, since this Gen-6 car can be loosely based on the production cars?? This way the liveries actually look right. Cuz some of these throwback liveries just don’t look right on these modern cars, except the #42 Mello Yello car. That one looks awesome.

Well, wait, Dodge is still in NASCAR?

No, wait, I wanna know why he thinks Torch owes him a new Windows Phone...

Wait, are you saying The people of Earth are committing TREASON against the Federation?!

A tad late for April Fool’s, Jason. Shoulda saved it for then.

OMG kids, don’t look!! Get out of the room!!! They’re NAKEDDDDD!!

The Elise one exists, at least in concept form...

Wait, wait... i just had an idea... How about a Porsche ‘Ute? Like a 911 with a pick-up bed, just like the Holden and Ford utes from down Under? Even better Idea, enter the new 911 ute into the V8 Utes racing series... and then GT3 ALL the things!

Not always, but it can happen. There are some instances where rallies have cars crashed after taking one corner too fast and smashing into what would’ve been the outside of the corner but is also the inside of the following corner... Plus, oversteer could direct a rally car towards the inside of a corner into a crowd.

OMG, noooooooo :*(

Actually, a suspension piece impaled Senna’s helmet through his visor. That would be considered crash debris, once it is broken from the car...

There’s no way to know that domed cockpits would have helped those drivers survive. The carbon-fiber monocoques of modern open-wheel racecars are designed to be impenetrable, but try telling that to James Hinchcliffe, who was airlifted to a hospital after a piece of suspension pierced the cockpit wall and his right

Cockpit domes would need to be studied thoroughly as they have to be opened after a crash. like others have said, how are they gonna open if the vehicle comes to a rest upside down? what about if the car is on fire?

The choice to use a closed-cockpit capsule like those used on Top Fuel dragsters or Top Fuel drag boats

As I read this, there’s an ad for Windows 10 in the side of the article. Terrible product placement, Kinja... smh. lol

Indycar just announced Wilson suffered a “severe head injury” and is currently in a coma at the hospital. Thoughts and prayers to the Wilson family during this tough time.

Yeah, i saw he wasn’t moving either. Hope it’s only a concussion, but even those are serious. Then there’s the matter of him hitting that inside wall nearly head-on...
