Look, it’s 1930's-1940's radio, rebranded and revitalized with a new name for the 2000's. It’s nothing new.

(And sometimes both—although, bizarrely, that’s not what Doughboys appears to be about.)

Cause people like to enjoy things in their own way, whether that’s making it as hard or as easy as they so choose. A game going out of it’s way to help with that is nothing but a straight positive in my book.

A shame the show kinda falters in S3, but I love every actor on the show so much, I’m more than likely gonna enjoy it, especially if Ron Funches joins the cast.

Mass Effect trilogy is the only franchise I actively choose to play as “bad” (Renegade), since Shepard can be kinda bland to start out with. I’m trying to defeat the Reapers, I might as well be a bit of a dick about it. I tried a Paragon run-through, but I felt too much like a weird clone of Superman, but more robotic.

and one of my greatest frustrations of the past decade has been recommending Crusader Kings II to folks I know would adore the politics, only for them to tell me, “I would rather die horrifically than learn how to play this.”

I cannot be more excited for this. The Stand was my favorite book growing up, and I did like the 90s miniseries (it hasn’t aged the best though, it’s so 90s), so I’m pumped to see this.

I’ve always gravitated to straight comedy/improve podcasts (Comedy Bang Bang, Hollywood Handbook, Doughboys, etc.), so there’s no real need to stay 100% up to date on anything, and it’s super easy to skip a couple of weeks if the guests aren’t doing it for you, or just unsubscribe entirely if need be.
