Concerning Dan McCoy's observation about actresses' feet, I'm surprised neither Kalan nor Wellington pointed out that Google personalizes every search suggestion these days.

I listened to as much as I could. Most youtube > mp3 conversion websites don't go the distance on 6 hour videos.

Watching the video is even funnier.  Although a youtube commenter said "they cut out the bit about david spade's bigoted friend."  Anyone have the details on that?

I also listened for too long, eventually out of habit.  The worst part about the long-winded repetitiveness is how it typically came at the expense of engaging the guest.  Finally I realized I'd rather not start each day with a blast of negativity.

Glad to hear Adam Parfrey on Maron's podcast, even if it wasn't a big success here.

Late reply (waiting on the new podmass here), but I agree the show seems to exist in the pre-podcast era.  As in: I'm not aware the show takes full advantage of the endless choice unleashed by the last decade of the internet.  If they did shows (for example) on the best Javanese gamelan records or notable giallo

I don't quite see the appeal of that show.  Music can be underwhelming after hearing such overwrought descriptions.

This week on The Best Show, writer/producer/historian Andrew Sandoval mentioned his music and interview podcast Come to the Sunshine.

How about some NEW (to YOU, AV Club commenters) recommendations?
