An artist’s background relecant when considering their work. Everybody’s background is relevant when evaluating their work. I’m not saying you’re entitled to knowledge about their personal lives. I’m not saying you should jump to wild conclusions based on specious facts and poor logic. However, if I tell you that a…
Hmmm, somehow I think there is a difference between censorship and informed criticism of the work. Somehow I think knowing the background of The Beatles may provide some context for lyrics such as:
It’s also amusing to me that the personal lives of artists have always been of interest to the public but somehow for these assholes it should be ignored. Shouldn’t the artists frame of mind and activities influence your evaluation of his work?
He’ll be the next Woody Allen/Roman Polanski type that we’re all told to separate their art from their “personal lives” as if their “invaluable contribution to the arts” should shield them from the consequences of their actions.
Nice.
I thought it was pretty mean and inappropriate. It was also a bit funny, but in a secondary “I can’t believe how big a dick Costas was” kind of way.
Reasonable people can disagree. I personally laughed out loud.
Was it THAT shitty of a thing to say? I found it rather humorous. Was it unprofessional? Perhaps a little. His point was that in this age we have disproportionate outrage mostly fueled by how easily things like this spread on the Internet. I think it's true.

Agreed. It sounds like he's hitting a trash can or something. I have no idea what he's trying to accomplish. Perhaps money from TMZ. This is bullshit.
Is it just me or is he not even hitting the car? Is this some publicity stunt to accomplish I can’t even begin to guess what?
These things are terrifying! Anything with that amount of energy would be a nightmare to take care of. Adorable? Sure...for like an hour. Then get them the hell away from me. Same way I feel about my niece and friends’ kids.
More credit needs to be given to the quality of the passes being played by Michael Bradley. First in the Netherlands game and now this. Under appreciated.
