He looks like a dick, he sounds like a dick, but what might he be?

I think you’re overestimating how sacred most people consider yesterday to have been. To me and a convoy of other folks that found ourselves meandering through the parking lot structure of a mall yesterday trying to figure out why people weren’t being allowed into the mall. It was Sunday and I needed something from…
While factually correct, I have a hard time believing that companies were closed on Easter because they knew the significance of the day to Christians. I suspect is has more to do with the bottom line. These companies know damn well that they can make a few more bucks by making employees work Thanksgiving and…
Seriously, what's with the scarf?
I was referring more to the breathalyzer. Not sure if that’s admissiable in CA or not.
You should refuse any tests the officer asks you to take at the scene and remain silent except for identifying yourself if necessary. The tests aren’t admissible but just serve to help the State build a case against you.
True. My Catholic friends always used to do really challenging things for lent like not drink soda.
Same here. I have a hard time taking those of the Christian faith seriously when they celebrate their savior's birthday for over a month but treat the supposedly most important day in their faith as a slightly more important Sunday.
Is this pretax or post-tax income?
I would’ve hired Greg Marshall long before anyone else. Give that guy the money and allure of a big program and I think you have the next Izzo or Kryzewski. I'd like to see him do it at Wichita State, but I doubt it's really possible.
Ah, the joy of being geographically required to be a Rockies fan. Top 10 in attendance, just above bottom 10 in salary, and almost surely headed for irrelevance by July once again.
I disagree. It's a rock concert. Rock concerts are all about crowd participation and energy. I've never heard a band ask the crowd to quiet down save the occasional performance of a ballad. I've heard plenty of artists ask the crowd to step it up and act like they actually want to be at the concert. There are few…
To quote Win Butler:
Half-assed. This is how you do an animated reenactment:
Traditional statistics don't mean nearly as much in football as in baseball because the game is constantly tweaking the rules in order add scoring and excitement to the game. Same with basketball and hockey. I think people have spoken with their dollars, and the answer is tweak the rules to make the game more…
I'm going to guess that none of the three municipalities wanted to foot the bill for the prosecution of a rich guy let alone all three of them should he beat the first, second, or god forbid third. There were probably questions regarding the admissibility/lack of physical evidence of the crime at various scenes. None…
Have any of these players been accused of doing anything other than singing some sophomoric, stupid songs? And don't get me wrong these songs are stupid. Not witty, not humorous, not thought-provoking. Bereft of artistic value. However, isn't it possible that stupid traditions die a slow death, and singing these songs…
That's probably fair. I just contrast this game with the Manchester United-Liverpool game today, which is arguably a comparable derby for English football, and the games just felt totally different because of the constant stoppages in play for the rolling around on the ground trying to get the opponent carded. It was…
Perhaps it's the quality of the refs that create the issue by allowing some of this diving to to fool them into giving fouls, but I suspect it has to do more with the culture of football and where the majority of the players in the respective leagues come from. It just seems to me from watching enough football that…
