A coworker managed to get a speeding ticket (85 mph!) in a rented HHR in South Dakota.
My 2005 Infiniti G35x had reclining rear seats that allowed taller people to sit fairly comfortably. I guess it was a rare option...even the Infiniti dealership I traded it in at had never seen it before.
The only time I’ve been to IMS was for an F1 race. The locals and the international crowd were equally confused by each other’s customs. My friend from New Zealand had his first corndog. I almost bumped into Mario Andretti. I think I still have a video clip of Schumaker blasting down the straight that was recorded on…
I assume that since the charge is entered in the system and that the vast majority of customers paid by credit card, the company has an accounting audit trail for every cent. Unless they were somehow able to refund the overcharges to a different payment method, I’m not sure how they could skim.
Its weird that someone in the Presidents Circle at Hertz couldn’t get this resolved immediately using their hotline. Seems like a fun car, but I wouldn’t know.
I’m actually 5'11", and if I am asked about my height, I say 5'11". In my experience, dudes that lie about height tend to add more than 2 inches.
Generally Civics. And now I have new neighbors in one house that seem to be trying to do a Fast and Furious origin story. Its not one car, but no less than 5 specific Civics, most early 2000s vintage, tricked out with the same crappy stickers and ebay parts. They work on them ALL THE TIME, and leave their jacks, jack…
