My wife is a medical professional that desperately needs a “new to her” car. Before the dress rehearsal for the apocalypse happened, we had planned on buying her a used luxury crossover in the next 90 days or so.   I’m curious to see how thirsty dealers will be when if we are still ready to buy this summer.

Yeah but Bill spoke like the 9th grader that could talk his way out of getting caught drinking beer during school and could maybe talk your mom into a date.  This chart just proves that it’s not what you say, but how you say it.

The only time I’ve ever driven an empty work van was picking up a new one or getting rid of an old one.  Otherwise, I’d have no idea what they were like unloaded.

Name recognition counts for a lot.  I’m a middle aged black voter and I’m holding on to the fantasy that the memes are true and if President Biden ever needs some help, he’s got ALL the Obama’s on speed dial.

I’m getting hints of Mercedes/Maybach from the A pillar forward, a little BMW in the middle, and some Aston and Lincoln hints from the D pillar back.

One gripe I hear about Tesla is the disappointing customer service experience dealing with repairs, parts, and service.

Not all things have to have manual transmissions.

In the 90s, I was a car audio installer and I owned tiny import sports cars. When I started getting in to the brand new loaded Silverados I was putting stereos in, I knew where things were headed.

I’d laugh, but I actually wrecked a perfectly good engine due to a mount. With zero knowledge of motorcycles, I rebuilt a completely destroyed Triumph Sprint. It took a year longer than I thought it would, and was way harder than I expected. But I actually got the thing running and looking good, and returned home

*mine is a 1974 GL1000 with a flat 4.

The weight isn’t too bad, and it’s almost all down low. The flat 4 really doesn’t help lean angles though.

And yes, I am over 6 feet tall, 200 plus pounds, and use to weigh a lot more. And I fit into my Miata

25 year old JDM performance cars make e90 M3s look like a viable alternative.

I’m not a Jeep or truck guy, but I like the way Gladiator looks in person.  I saw one when they first launched at the Jeep display at a state fair and was eager to check it out up close.  Then I saw the interior, and noped right on out of there.

I have a similar problem, but it’s not Harley’s. I live in a quiet neighborhood south of Minneapolis and ride a 995cc Triumph Sprint that is fairly quiet at low revs, and I don’t ride it like dickhead. However - 1 block over, 3 dickheads seem to live on what sound like 600cc bikes that only have 3 gears. They are

CE and LE trims could get manuals with the V6s. If I recall correctly, the CE was the ‘sleeper’ because other than the V6, it was a BASE model. And in the 90’s, some base models barely met the minimum requirements for being a car.
