Not your taste... fine. As a 911 owner, I love that the platform has created so many ways for people to be creative. It's a bit like jazz... there's room to interpret on a a well-loved standard.

They chose the 964 precisely because they aren't the 930 chassis. The suspension is totally different, its stiffer and has factory-designed AC and other improvements. I own a 964 proudly, and am psyched with the Singer decision, as it is bringing these cars' excellent features to light... they've otherwise suffered…

No, Oregon doesn't use any salt on the roads at all... this makes for icy driving, but the cars last a lot longer, except for the windshields from broken rocks... they do spread a kind of gravel on the roads in winter and it's hard on the finish surfaces and the glass.

I have gotten as good as 24 MPG, in long cruising, but in town its around 13MPG. I do have other cars, but I have no fear about running this all year. I do have dedicated winter wheels and tires (shown here) and I run summer performance tires on 17" rims otherwise.

FYI, I drive my 964 all year, and do all the work myself. The C4 (AWD) is bulletproof.
