I still love TFA, but WW actually managed to make me like it less by proving that, yes, it totally would have been possible to flesh out the non-Bucky Howling Commandos if they'd wanted to.

I had the thought, halfway through the film, that Diana is pretty much the first DC movie protagonist in 30 years to genuinely be an aspirational figure.
Quick and dirty answer: If any of the other gods were alive, Diana's mission wouldn't be to stop Ares, but to go find/free those gods so that they could stop Ares.
I mean, Hector will most likely be unconscious for the second switch, so Nacho's through the worst of it, especially if he and Hector are alone when he has his next attack.
Miltank take the place of cows in the Pokemon universe.
As soon as Chuck saw the battery in his hand, it started hurting him, which is the real point.
When was he going to study the original bottle?
Chuck's humiliation* motivates him - sincerely - to take a hard look at himself and make changes for the better, but there's a very good chance we just saw him getting sucker-punched back into self-righteousness by Jimmy's last bit of payback.**
The Nacho stuff actually really worked for me tonight, probably because it had both high stakes and an uncertain outcome, two things that most of the similar sequences this season have lacked. It still loses a few points for not being tied to Jimmy at all, but at least it's clearly going somewhere and can carry its…

If you think my real name is fun to say, you should hear my stage name!
No matter what degree of success a terror attack achieves, they insist it wouldn't have happened in the first place if the victims had been armed.
I would never wish that on her in a million years.
I might even go so far as to say that I'm starting to like her as an artist as well as a person, and am considering listening to one of her albums in full!
You say that like it's a high bar to clear.
"I mean are there people she actually did grow up with and actually knows well that she cares about more?"
I thought some of the jokes landed - a fair amount of them, even - but not in ways that helped suggest a movie with any sort of narrative drive.
"One ticket for Wonder Woman, please."
"The 8:00?"
"No, the 7:30."
"Oh, I'm sorry, all the seats in that screening are reserved for women."
"But… but I want the seat."
"I'm sorry, sir. If you can't wait, we do still have seats for the screening right next door. It started twenty minutes ago, but since we show 40 minutes of…
This is more like a man walking up to a half-empty lunch counter and insisting on his right to sit smack dab in the middle of the group of women who are clearly there together.
To be fair, the show seemed very determined to prove that it was not forced consent.
