"Not responding."

"If a cool idea doesn't fit your story, cram it in there anyway! You can fix the inconsistencies later. Or better yet, don't bother."

I will draw a hard line saying that every appearance of the Angels since "Blink" has served only to make them worse.

Charlie's 'secret' from the bottle episode kind of ruined a core conflict this week.

So the Weeping Angels are the real Big Bad?

What can I tell you, dude? They're allowed.

If a cashier at a grocery store gets fired for telling a customer to go fuck herself, is that a first amendment issue?

If you're talking about corporations disciplining or firing their employees for things they say, then yeah, I think they should be able to do that.

You can be censored by people other than the government, but you only have a constitutional right protecting you from government censorship.

My mind keeps going back to the one story I actually can remember of an armed individual trying to stop a crime (a carjacking).

Point of order: Edgar Wright and his writing partner Joe Cornish kept their screenplay credit on Ant-Man.

I mean… he might have expected not to like it, but I don't think he'd have written anything before seeing the movie, and I certainly trust Dowd enough to write what he actually thinks, even if he's a bit begrudging about it.

Jesus Christ.

What the fuck is the difference between a theater saying "We'd like these screenings to be all women" and 'encouraging women to buy out screenings,' which you yourself said you'd think was cool?

If women were encouraged to buy out screenings, an entertainment equivalent of the March on Washington, I'd think it was cool.

EDIT: Double post because Disqus crapped out

I really can't tell where to land on this comment, because I think you're saying that you don't want those people in Austin anyway, but I also can't tell if your username is ironic or not and the private history means I can't investigate further.

Upvoted for honesty and the increasingly rare not-particularly-hot take.

More importantly, why would you want one?
