I like that explanation a lot, but I'd tweak it to say that it has been Twelve the whole time in addition to being intermittent. If only because of the great gag in Shada/Gently suggesting that when you're a tenured lecturer at a sufficiently prestigious university, people just straight-up stop questioning things

The Doctor taking up a lengthy residence at a university where no one is entirely sure what he teaches is basically lifted directly out of Shada (or Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, if you insist). I'm cool with it, though, since it remains a great concept. And I can always tell myself that he got the idea

In the unlikely circumstance that I'm ever a Jungle Cruise skipper, when we pass by the African Python I'm gonna tell my boat that that's my pet snake Reggie.

As far as I'm aware, Star Wars Land will actually be deceptively small starting out. On a miraculously slow day, you could do all of it, including the shops and restaurants, in… I dunno, two hours? Three? Now, with crowds, you're absolutely right that it'll be a two-day project.

Another argument: If you recreated the flat desert planet of Tatooine, guests in line for the Millennium Falcon ride would be able to turn their heads and see people riding Gadget's Go-Coaster 90 feet away.

By the time Star Wars Land opens, it will have been 14 years since the last movie to have Tattooine in it.

That's more Indy's thing.

I wonder if the secrecy actually wound up being to TFA's detriment.

Is there an actor named Warrick Davis that I don't know about, or did you misspell Warwick and the casting is just really counterintuitive?

Well, we do know the Ghost was at Scarif, and that, at minimum, Hera and Chopper were onboard.

Holy crap, did Hera just engage her hyperdrive while going through a space station?

"The freezer must be kept at this temperature."
"The arrows are there to confuse you."

Which is a very funny quote and all, but it always makes me think… that's a year of your life gone, Mike. Couldn't you have paid for that house and helped your career at the same time? Or at least phoned it in as part of a better movie?

Wendy's is in fact the best, but McDonald's is also kinda great if you think of it as 'McDonalds' rather than 'burgers, chicken sandwiches, etc.'

This one's in space too!?

Even better, he has a subplot while in suspended animation!

DIK! YOU HAVE NO PENIS! YOUR PENIS IS GONE! YOU HAVE NO PENIS ON YOUR FACE! WHERE IT IS I CAN'T SAY, BUT ON YOUR FACE IT'S NOT!

As soon as I heard Theron had been cast I knew there was something there, but I started to worry I wouldn't figure it out in time.

No, man! This is a golden opportunity for you! You just have to find the studio exec who greenlit Olympus Has Fallen, or maybe the one who greenlit Deep Impact. Or Antz.

The CW has network suits? Haven't they cancelled, like, one show in seven years?
