These customers remind me of the dumbest person I ever had walk through the doors of the Borders I managed after college.

I think most of Europe is haunted.

NOT TO MENTION that for some women, being pregnant impacts their ability to do their jobs, and right now we don't have any laws protecting women from discrimination against them if they're pregnant and can't do their work (see the case headed to the Supreme Court with the woman who worked for UPS). The implications of

I am from Northwest Indiana, but live in Chicago. Before that I lived in Boston. There were lots of places in Boston where people would give me side eye for ordering my steak medium rare. One server at a casual chain said to me "that's going to be red like ketchup". My response was that as a Midwesterner I was

Fellow Midwesterner here...the really crazy thing about that story is that anyone would think it was a good idea to order a steak at Cracker Barrel...regardless of where that Cracker Barrel is located.

Yep. The contrast between Rick's group and the Alexandria people was so stark. They're really damaged people. They ARE walking dead.

I completely agree. And actually, I think the pacing has been beautiful for a while now—at least since the prison fell. All those slow burn episodes while the group was separated? Those were amazing character-development episodes, pretty much on par with the Tyrese episode. I really would be surprised if the

On the Talking Dead, Chris Harwick described Rick's group as "feral", which I thought was apt.

I've heard this theory too, and I think it holds water. The minute Deanna said that exiling members was "a death sentence", you knew she was going to see them again

Agree on all points, but I also suspect we'll discover that Deanna's community is currently paying tithings to 'The Wolves' to avoid conflict.

That is interesting.

One one hand, the only thing worse than Skyline chili are the people who post pics of Skyline chili to "SCOREBOARD!" any conversation about food and the Midwest.

I agree with you. It's not just the Midwest though...almost all of pinkhams posts have some kind of snobby comment about region/food/culture/restaurant. I guess it's his schtick but it's so tired. Like we get it dude you're better than the rest of us.

Pinkham, I want to like you, and most days I do. However, it seems like you've got this mentality where you lump everything in the USA that's not within 50 miles of the ocean as "flyover country" full of Jesus-freak troglodytes who wouldn't know great food if it were force-fed to them.

Even in here Ohio, most people recoil in horror from that crap. EVERY aspect of Cincinnati-style chili is disgusting. I am ashamed that I live in the same state that this monstrosity was created.

The Midwest is waaay to big to generalize. There also doesn't seem to be a consensus on what exactly constitutes the Midwest.

Kanye also insists in the interview that Kim and Beyonce get along. "They love each other. They respect each other. [...] When Beyonce is working on her album she has pictures of Kim on the wall because Kim represents powerful women."

Having been raised by ultra-Christian/ultra-Liberal parents I always resent the notion that believing in God also means you don't understand science or marriage equality or vaccinations.

OK. From someone who has ASMR and watches Maria on the regular I'm a little on the defense. Not everyone experiences ASMR so I totally get that it seems really weird from the outside. Even among those that have it, everybody has different triggers (I like soft spoken voices with accents but I can't stand really loud
