The thing about this story that I love is that there are absolutely no winners or sympathetic figures (except the two poor schmucks who lost their jobs and are Public Enemies Nos. 1 & 2 in their homes). Anyway, the rest of them all deserve each other completely and forever. Fuck. Them. All.

I’m curious to see her character and everything but it seems to me that if I had Lupita Nyong’o in my movie, the last thing I’d do is cover her face in CGI.

It will be more about government control and how the Avengers can be held responsible for collateral damage, as far as I understood. The secret identity angle is basically non-existent in the MCU. Simply doesn’t matter.

Well, here’s the dilemma: If any of these characters were NOT in this movie, people would be complaining that they SHOULD be. “Where’s Tony Stark when S.H.I.E.L.D. falls?” “Where are the Avengers when worlds are colliding in The Dark World?”

When reading “City of Stairs”, did anyone else picture Sigrud looking like this guy?

I live in Chicago. Here are some cool things tourists should go to, but probably don’t:

The page is right there in this article. It’s the bottom image.

Diana crying holding a teddy bear? Check.

No Google Music?

Why do people like his baby-faced Diana?

I pretty much gave up on Wonder Woman once the Finch’s started. Really not a fan of the way he draws Wonder Woman.

Definitely. The shadowy society behind the Inhumans is a lot of fun. Not just Medusa’s people either.

I jumped on the Inhuman train really late, but I’m a convert. It’s a great series. It’ll never replace the X-Men, but hopefully this is the version of Inhumans that catches on long-term.

Except on a recent episode of The Flash, they learned there were metahumans that existed independent of it, so even that’s being pushed aside.

I love this stuff. Bring it on.

lol I’m with you there. People have been taking MoS (even though I hated the film) to task for this and it is unfair. This is Iron Man’s 5th on screen rodeo with keeping people in check. Cap’s 4th. THOR’s 4th, etc. They’ve been “saving” people for a ton of films while we only got one film where Clark first had to

As I mentioned in another thread, I really liked AoU—at least for now, considerably more than the original. One not-really-spoilerish quibble I have is not really with the movie but with one of the kind of passive aggressive shots people have taken at MoS through praise of AoU. That has to do with the amount of time

After finishing the trilogy, I passed them off to my wife and we both agree they get better with each successive book. She was thoroughly disappointed there wasn’t a fourth and she HATES horror.

I can see this being good if you haven’t read the book. I have, and I’m not sure there’s enough to this story minus the twist to warrant me watching it. I might give it a look for the cast alone.

I was pleasantly surprised by Elizabeth Olsen. She did a great job as Scarlet Witch and got a significant more amount of screen time than I expected.
