This isn’t a trailer, and they’re still filming the period portion of the movie and haven’t gotten into the more visually intense/fantastic stuff yet.

I thought this was a very fitting way to send off the Richards family (for now). They’re literally the creators and managers of the Marvel Universe. There’s no better fit for their combined abilities and knowledge.

Very interested to see if we get teases connected to the under-the-surface mystery in Jessica Jones. The similarities in how they got their powers can’t be a coincidence.

I am a huge fan of hers. She was so good as Cressida in Hunger Games in a small role, that I want her to be Captain Marvel or Medusa.

Maz was actually one of my favorite parts of the movie. I thought Lupita did really well with the material, given that she was essentially an info dump and a pivot point to get from Point A to Point B.

He’s only intimidating to the characters because he’s ruthless and the only Force user currently running around the galaxy. The audience has seen the effectiveness of fully-trained Jedi/Sith, and can see how far Kylo is from that level of technique.

Exactly this! Kylo is a pretender, and she beats him using her cleverness, guile, and creativity, not with brute force or...uh...Force. Strength has never been an advantage for a Jedi in this universe, but it’s all Kylo knows.

I thought it was interesting that her inherent mechanical knowledge and learning seemed to mimic in her Force learning. She watched how Kylo made it work, and using the stories she’s heard and her own observation, made it work. Her creativity and ingenuity were why she was able to beat him at the end, not her Force…

Wish they would have cast Idris Elba in this...He’d be perfect.
