I liked this movie right after I saw it, but by the next morning, my opinion had done a 180. Now, the more time that passes, the more negative my thoughts.

Yeah that felt way out of character, and it reminded me of the scene from Hardhome with the mother failing to fight the zombie children.

I have plateaued recently, and am trying new things to shake up my workouts/diet. Doing one set less of weights each day, and using that time to add cardio, varying meals a little more, etc.

Between this and DC’s first batch of new titles this week, comics from the Big Two are the freshest they’ve been in years.

I think it’s because we’re so conditioned to shows using the “women’s weakness is children” trope that gets trotted out so often that that’s what we immediately latch onto. I didn’t connect her line earlier about her family to these children, and just thought it was lazy writing. I’d much rather it tie back to that…
