Is there anything like this for Linux?

Is there anything like this going on with Connecticut plates? I see quite a few CT plates here in Central Florida (not on expensive cars, though), and noticed they don’t have tag stickers showing the renewal date. If you move to FL, you’re supposed to get FL plates within 10 days. I had neighbors that lived here over
