Seems like this is the kind of series that could have benefitted from a more aggressive media campaign. With a title like that it's hard for a lot of people to see where the show is going.

Good point.

As for his healing abilities they do play the Ancient Eastern Meditation Powers (TM) trope a bit. But I don't really mind it. I've seen real life monks do some pretty improbable things when they meditate and this IS the MCU so I'm willing to suspend a little disbelief. :-)

I love Foggy, too. One of the problem with super-hero movies is that there's rarely enough time to develop secondary characters. Foggy really comes into his own over the course of the series and it's great seeing his idealistic nature break through. All of the major characters are well-developed, really.

Netflix really is the perfect format for street level superheros. They may not have an enormous budget but street level hero powers tend not to be that flashy. And with roughly 6 & 1/2 hours or so to develop a story in an episodic format things don't feel rushed in the ways movies are. One thing I really liked about

DC seems to work better in animated formats. I think it's partly because DC characters tend to be pretty OP and partly because so many of them have such iconic looks. It's hard to find someone who both looks the part AND can handle the acting. I am kinda looking forward to Aquaman and Suicide Squad, though. Not real

Isn't he in an Albanian prison or something?

I like Hardwick, actually.

Kind of like Brian Williams?

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the guy "Into the Wild" was based on die during his adventures?

I still like Key & Peele & @Midnight. But yeah, I see where you're coming from.
