I had a Mission Critical baby carrier (in tan color). I do not think anyone questioned its manliness and I had few guys ask me where I bough it. Plus Molle webbing was useful so I could attach a pouch for a bottle and another with a diaper change pack.

As the parent of a child with a disability - all of this. We’re lucky in that our son doesn’t really look disabled at first glance so we don’t get stares immediately. He does like to make noise and that gets attention.

It's been free for a few years now. I've been using it for almost three years and other than a rare email asking if I want the business edition which costs, they don't bother me with tons of emails, solicitations, haven't sold my email address...and it's a killer program. So I don't think they'll start charging any

Dedicated coin sorting devices only barely qualify as useful gadgets at best. The amount of money they cost is rarely worth the time they save unless you deal with a large number of coins in your life. Rather than waste the cash on buying one for yourself (or worse, the fees typically charged by coin sorters in

Thank you VERY much.

Another simple, but easily overlooked tool is the timer you almost certainly already have on your phone. Maybe I get distracted and lose track of time more than other people, but it has become an absolutely essential tool in my coffee making process.

As well as being a vital tool for many kitchen purposes, it's also incredibly useful for making a consistently good cup of coffee. Simply weigh out your coffee and water, and you limit the variables in play (obviously there are a few others, such as temperature, style of pouring, but these are in my opinion less

(Warning, the video is hilarious, but might not be totally SFW depending on where you work!) The Aerobie AeroPress is my favorite way to brew a cup at a time here or there when I don't want a lot of coffee, or I want a delicious cup but I don't want an entire pot to deal with. We've highlighted it several times, and

And if you live in Northwest Wisconsin you're boned. -25F doesn't even work for half the winter...

These things bring out the OCD in me. It's a round item you essentially put in a box shape (the cupboard)! and what about my rectangular spice bottles? Where do they go? *head explodes*

I've literally had 3 of these damn things fail right at the joint (not pictured) where the magsafe adapter meets the power block and cause shorting, mini fires, and visible singeing... Apple graciously replaced all of them when I agreed not to file a class action lawsuit against them about it. Let's see what the other

Honestly, this is just an awful idea. As soon as I could hold the controller, my Dad was playing games with me, not tricking me into thinking I'm playing. He would stick a game in like Super Mario World or Gradius III and we would take turns in two player. Yes, I died a lot. A one year and a half year old is bound to.

Soap! To clean things! #protip

Poor Pash. Leaves Lifehacker and gets thrown in Whitson's "What have you done for me lately" list.

It's interesting you mention this. One of my friends laments those great arguments about disputed facts during social gatherings. He says now people just whip out their smartphones and it's over. So when I'm out with him and something like this comes up, I fight the urge to fact check and just let it play out. We

@crashfrog - Couldn't disagree with you more - It IS our responsibility as administrators and engineers to police the network when warranted, and make sure that ALL end users are complying with corporate (and sometimes governmental) policy as well as the official accepted use documents that they sign. I've never tried this method. My mom always taught me to use uncooked hamburger patties to pick glass up off of the floor. Then afterwards I sear both sides in a frying pan to seal the glass in. Sometimes I wrap the patty in a hamburger bun for extra protection before throwing it way. You never can be to safe!
