I think Dempsey doesn't get enough credit. The cross from Altidore was too close to the keeper, but Dempsey managed to get a foot on it and keep it out of his hands. Though I'm sure that with everything at stake, it would have been easy for Donovon to blow the shot. He didn't.

It was an in-class spelling bee, using words from subjects we'd been studying. So not up on stage or anything like that. At least I only embarrassed myself in front of my classmates, not the whole school. Well... THAT time, anyway.

Mortified doesn't cover it. Apparently I spelled it "Gram". I guess I thought it was going to be easy and didn't pay attention.

In 4th grade I was the best speller in my class, but I lost the spelling bee by misspelling Alexander Graham Bell's middle name. Which is also MY name.

I just thought it odd because I thought he and Sue Storm were supposed to be siblings. I may have been misinformed, or they could retcon it so someone was adopted (like me) or they could be half-siblings.
