Yeah only reason I noticed was because the game briefly pointed it out during the repo mission with Franklin where you gotta shoot out of that alleyway...one of the first missions and an easy detail to miss. Go blow up some cars!

I'm actually not sure...I think you aim for the tank or general area of where the tank is...but I think it's different for some cars. You will see the trail of gas pretty clearly though - then just shoot that and enjoy the show haha. I've only played for a few hours on my brother's copy.

From shooting the gas tank. Also, if you shoot the trail of gas, it will ignite and follow the vehicle until it explodes. Fun times.
