I don’t get the idea that June’s decision at the end of the last season was nonsensical or confusing. She was just living by the words she used to convince Serena to give up her daughter: “She can’t grow up here.” Having convinced another woman to let go of her child with that, it only feels expected that she’d stay

*Release six trailers full of cryptic nonsense*

I’m seriously starting to feel like they might actually defeat the Night King in the next episode. It would be very thematically fitting for this show if the grand alliance comes together and beats the inhuman evil, and then they spend the rest of the season pointlessly chopping each other to bits over the throne.

The more they talk about this being the culmination of all nine movies, the more nervous I get. The last two were very emphatically not that, and in TLJ's case one of the reasons I love it so much is that it was content to be its own thing.

I like the sequel movies (very firmly pro-The Last Jedi), but this is the sort of story I was actually hoping for back when the new Star Wars stuff was first announced. Something that feels like it’s exploring new territory instead of calling back to what came before.

This is all painting a picture of deep-seated, institutional dysfunction in the "AAA" game industry. The fact that people from other studios recognized what happened with Anthem in their own workplaces is horrifying. Something has to change.

I somehow missed the Watch Dogs 3 hint when it initially came to light. I feel vindicated because I predicted--not really based on anything--that the next one would be set in London. I'm excited to see how the game tackles that city's particular social and political issues.

Every single version of this debate I’ve ever seen goes like this:

With the power of current-gen consoles, they've made the character designs *even more* hideous. If you play it on the Xbox One X at 4K, everyone gets jorts and scraggly goatees.

I’m really not sure of the direction they’re going with this. Pairing the old-fashioned level design with modern production technology just looks extremely awkward, like someone made a System Shock mod with another game’s engine. I feel like this approach would have been better served by just making an upscaled

Nunes will sue the company for $250 million in compensatory damages

This feels like the developers answering questions no one was asking. Do we need to know exactly which person started the Desmond bloodline (or wherever they’re going with it) and who their parents were?

I mean, it’s just an odd situation, like things got really desperate really fast. I know that February was a really bad month, but January on the other hand was excellent

I’m keeping my kindle next to my controller for this reason.

I find this hugely frustrating. We’re relying on unnamed sources that are being filtered through news reports that are frustratingly vague. Like, what exactly is leading to the suspicion that Smollett himself orchestrated the whole thing? Did the suspects directly claim that? The only concrete detail we’re getting is

When companies stage mass layoffs, all of the executives should be required to resign as well.

I am might be completely off base here, but I feel like Moira is going to end up as the game’s first trans character (or non-binary, or just gender-queer in some way).

My choice would be a complete and total moratorium on revenge as a character premise in videogames. I think shadow of mordor was the straw that broke the camels back. No, I do not give a shit about Talien just because he saw his wife and son die, those characters barely even registered as people before they were

I never actually got far enough into naissance or Eidelon (intend to go back to them), do those games reveal anything about the protagonist? I had assumed you were just meant to be playing a faceless generic character.

Interviews have said that upgrading your ship is a big deal, and I believe they vaguely mentioned something about trade routes at one point, whatever that means. Apparently the difficulty increases as you move further toward the center of the galaxy, although I'm not sure if getting there is actually an end goal or if
