There are custom modes you can make to keep the traction control on while in performance mode.  It makes the car a bit more manageable on questionable traction surfaces. While giving you the fun of the full horsepower bit. 

I own several very nice vehicles and the handling on my 2 Hellcats is more than acceptable. I think a lot of folks just like to talk ish out of their oral cavity without any real experience to back it up.
