I'm expecting season 4 Connor from Angel.

The overly formal voice mail might be my favorite "out of time" joke so far. The best ones are not the obvious "I don't know how X works" jokes, but the "oh I guess he would think that" jokes.

His face was particularly punchable tonight.

As another Hate-Watcher, I think I hate-watch for 2 reasons
1) I know a lot of people who love it and I want to be informed when I argue about it
2) I find Newsroom bad in such a particular, unique and fascinating way.  No bad show is bad like the Newsroom is bad.  It's much more interesting than a lot of better shows.

Uhg, that episode was as great as it was intense.  Almost an hour after and I'm still tense.  UHG Jack!  Resign and have Alana take your job.  This show kept dangling possibilities of Will getting out of this mess, such as Alana discovering the clock, and then taking those possibilities away.  Ah, I wanted to go flip

My favorite part of Storage Swappers, Ferral Jesus: $0

I cackled for a good 5 minutes when Eric glided sadly out of the room.  Did they put him on a skateboard and pull him out? Did half of their budget go to Game of Thrones?

Seconded, that finale blew my mind it was so exciting.  IMHO a good finale should have 3 out of 4 things:

I tend to like the whole thing.  In fact it's one of my top 10 favorite episodes.
It's a really good sci-fi idea and I like the way the episode follows how each of the character's reactions as well as their possible fates.  I think the middle stuff makes the episode, getting to know Worf's "followers" and the Mollys,

Season 1 isn't as good as the rest, but it's not bad. But if you're going for an amended list, I'd watch the first episode and Evicted as they're important in knowing who's who.

STILL SPOILERS (for Ds9 and BSG)
What I really liked about the idea of the Pagh Wraith/mystical plot was how it was such a tonal shift.  That in the middle of this war, there had been this other cosmic plot building.  I think they made some weird decisions with it - I remember on Memory Alpha them saying something like

Aw man, we have to consider the DCAU.  Batman The Animated Series and Justice League Unlimited have serious credentials.  And because I jut wanted to add some more shows to this list Gargoyles, Spectacular Spiderman, and Samurai Jack are also amazing achievements.

Wow, that was … wow.
It's amazing that AT can go from the hallucinatory mania of The Great Bird Man to such a toned down and deeply sad episode.  Tom Kenny is amazing.  Every line as Simon was so perfectly paternal, down to the lame jokes.  Oh man, there is nothing sadder than a sad rendition of the Cheers theme

Oh yeah.

Boondock Saints.  I know there are people who like this movie genuinely,  but boy is that movie shitty.  It's so aggressively dumb; every single scene fades to black, and the horrible text in the beginning introducing people, it's attempts to be "deep," it's all just so terrible, and SO funny. SO funny.  I don't think

After the first mention, the root beer moment I remember the most is during Quark's drunken rant about how he misses serving Root Beer and the Federation in general.  It's one of my favorite Quark moments.  Really I think everything from "In the Cards" to "You are Cordially Invited" is impecable.

I didn't read the article, just the title, and I knew it was a Todd article.
After he realized, with jubilance, that we were living in a golden age of television, Todd perceived everything as a threat, hiding the golden age under his bed to protect it.
